The Hotell Älvsjö is a small, privately owned hotel, located within 300 metres of Stockholm Fair and the train station. The 54 guestrooms are decorated in neutral tones with simple modern furnishings. All include satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial telephones,radios and hairdryers. <br> The hotel offers meeting rooms for business users, a games room for children, and a semi-equipped kitchen for guest use. Guests can also relax in the sauna, go for a workout in the well-equipped gym, or unwind with a drink in the lounge bar. Those wishing to explore the area are within 500 metres of the train station, from which Stockholm is a 10 minute journey. Once in the city centre, guests can visit the Royal Swedish Opera and the Stockholm Fair. Stockholm Arlanda Airport is approximately 35 kilometres from the hotel, a journey time of around 40 minu tes. The airport has three railway stations: one for long- distance destinations including Trondheim and Göteborg, and two for frequent express trains to Stockholm. Arlanda Express trains run all day and most of the night, every 15 minutes at peak times (journey time is 20 minutes). SJ Trainbus and bus no. 583 provide connections to Märsta station, one stop north of Stockholm Central station. Taxis run from directly outside the terminals. There are bus stations outside terminals 2, 4 and 5. Buses to Stockholm City Terminal run daily (journey time is 45 minutes), every five to 10 minutes at peak times.
