HOTEL OVERVIEW

Hotel Villa Patriarca Mirano - Venere.com hotel front view Hotel Villa Patriarca is an ideal location for your holidays: welcoming and familiar, while at the same time elegant and equipped with all sorts of comforts immersed in nature and greenery, but within a stroll of splendid, important cities such as Venice, Padova and Treviso and not far from renowned holiday locations such as Cortina d'Ampezzo and the Dolomites, Lake Garda and the beaches of the Adriatic coast.

This exclusive three star hotel is located in a splendid eighteenth-century villa situated within a stroll of the historic centre of Mirano, in which one can still feel the same quiet, calm atmosphere which characterizes the age-old noble villas on the Brenta Riviera.

All the common areas are extremely pleasurable, as for example the intimate, welcoming breakfast hall, the refined reading room and, above all, the beautiful park which surrounds the villa. In an inviting and well cared for carpet of grass, among the centuries-old trees, flowering plants and dense rose garden, our guests can relax while sunbathing by the swimming pool, or you can play sport by using the tennis courts or the five-a-side soccer pitch in the park of the villa.

For its strategic position, the beauty and comfort of the structure and the many exclusive services available to our guests, Villa Patriarca represents the best solution both for pleasure or for business trips.

A very nice three star hotel, converted from an eighteenth-century villa. The hotel has an ample amount of private parking, great garden, pool, guest room and poolside service. Your first impression as you enter the hotel is that of a warm, welcoming and comfortable hotel with unusually large and well lit reading room/lobby. It is a walk away from the city centre of Mirano. A must see is the nearby Brenta Riviera, with its incredible Venetian Villas like Villa Foscari and Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari. Pros: Buses to Venice (20 min drive), Padova and Treviso stop right in front of the hotel. The Mansard suite was clean, air-conditioned and just right for 4 people (Quadruple suite). The desk staff tried their best to communicate with you and were very helpful with directions. Great restaurant with a great chef and reasonably priced menu. The breakfast lounge was operated by a very energetic lady and breakfast was great with an assortment of breads, pastries, cakes, some meats and cheese, yogurt, fruit juices etc). The hotel was an excellent value for money. Cons: This was by far the hardest hotel to find at night so stop and ask for directions. We chose the much talked about Mansard Suite for four people. It was unique, with it’s exposed wood beams, old walnut furniture and comfortable but the bathroom flooded each time it rained. It rained throughout our visit and consequently, a mess. Overall, this was a great hotel if you are looking for a comfortable and relaxed stay and its value per night for 4 people in peak season was unmatchable. I would definitely stay again in a different room.

We stayed only one night, but the price without breakfast is very high. The rooms are old and the window facing a large tent, under which was celebrated till midnight. No air conditioning.

If you have a car, this hotel and Mirano city is a good choice for accommodating around Venice. Just drive to Mestre and take a train to Venice. Hotel is in a big garden and very quiet. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Night staff does not speak English though he was very helpful anyway. There is a nice swimming pool in the garden.

We stayed in Mirano because it's close to Venice. The staff didn't bother to make our stay better, besides that it was perfect.

We were very happy in this hotel last year, this time somehow less. If you want to have a dinner in the restaurant of the hotel (which is by the way excelent) , be careful and reserve your table in advance!!!! Fortunatelly, the hotel is very well located, with a magnifique garden and swimming-pool.

Very quiet hotel, with a large garden and a nice swimming pool. The city of Mirano is not very easy to find, but there are many hotel signs which help find our way through. I highly recommend this hotel.

A really good two-day stay. Exceeded our expectations. Very helpful and welcoming people in a relaxed atmosphere. Our two teenage sons enjoyed the facilities. The pool was splendid after a days drive.

We had a nice stay with clean rooms, beautiful garden and very clean swimmingpool/surroundings. That mattered much for the children, who stayed in the pool all day! We would have rated this place higher if the service and food in the bar in the garden/ close to the swimmingpool had been better. We got sandwiches with green cheese and an almost rude employee. On the other hand- the dinner was excellent!

Unfortunately it was just a short stay for us cause we were there on business purposes. I would also like to point out the beautiful restaurant in this hotel. Exellent food and excellent service. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the guy who served us but he was superb!

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was dreadful; better not to have included it in the itinerary. We saw a reference to the poor breakfast in other feedback and thought it couldn't be that bad - it was and worse! It was as if they had no interest in it. We had to go looking for someone to get coffee and on the first morning there was no cheese ("it's finished") even though we were there with an hour to go before breakfast ended. On the second morning there were some very limited cheeses and no ham; we didn't ask ... It was a shame as almost every thing else was fine though the rooms are a bit on the small side but very comfortable nonetheless. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and the bus takes you all the way to Venice for about 5 Euro. The journey takes about 45 minutes and the return journey can be a bit crowded if you arrive late.

Nice place at 30' from the airport, which is convenient for an early morning flight. Small town of Mirano is fine for last minute shopping: chease, panettone, ... Our room window was over the restaurant kitchen: bad smelling and noise late at night.

What a beautiful property! The grounds were expansive and well-maintained. The rooms were clean and beds were fine. Good breakfast buffet. All the desk staff were friendly and helpful. They gave accurate info on bus to Venice and directions to the airport. We had a fantastic meal for our last night in Italy at the hotel restaurant. Wonderful!!! The only complaint, or rather disappointment, was that the pool wasn't open and they didn't have tennis raquets for guest use. FYI, the pool is open from May through August only. Overall, a delightful place, well-priced and convenient to Venice and Marco Polo airport

Albergo accogliente e tranquillo. Discreto il ristorante anche se con qualche piccola pecca nel servizio.
