hotel front view Hunters Meet Restaurant & Hotel has been established since 1990. The hotel comprises of comfortable rooms (some with four-poster beds), a restaurant, bar, and a leisure centre, which overlooks the historic Hatfield Heath, a thriving village on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, close to Stansted Airport. The hotel has a conference rooms which can be set up for boardroom, theatre or informal style meetings, seating up to 80 delegates. Further more, they also have small meeting rooms which can be used for up to 6 delegates and are ideal for interviews, informal directors meetings, etc.

double room Rooms have en-suite facilities and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV, radio and direct dial telephone. The use of hairdryers, ironing facilities and a laundry service is also available.
The full English breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the weekend.

My stay was just to sleep one night. Only thing I was not happy with was the quietness of the room.
By train The hotel is approx. 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street. Take the Stansted or Cambridge train to Bishop's Stortford and then a 10 minute taxi ride. By car From the south: take M11 Exit at Junction7 (Harlow), take second exit (A414) into Harlow and go straight across the first three roundabouts and turn right at the fourth following signs to B183 Hatfield Heath (approx 8 km). When you get to the Heath, turn left and then turn right onto the A1060 and the hotel is about 300 metres on the left opposite the Heath itself.From the north: take 2nd Exit from Junction 8 (A120) to Great Dunmow for approximately 3.8 km to the first main set of traffic lights at Takely. Look for the Four Ashes Pub on your left. Turn right here signposted B183 to Hatfield Heath (8 km). When you reach Hatfield Heath, turn left and the Hunters Meet is the first building on the left fronting the Heath.
The hotel has a private outdoor car park.
The hotel bar has a charming conservatory in which guests may enjoy a drink when the weather does permit sitting outdoors.
