The Metrolink tram stop is opposite the hotel, the motorways and main railway station are within easy reach, whilst it is just 20 minutes to the airport. This excellent, modern property also offers extensive complimentary guest parking. Nearby you will find jogging routes and a sports centre. Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the reception, bar, restaurants and function suites including the McCallum Suite and Heritage Suite & Foyer.

Local attractions include the Manchester United Football Club Museum and Tour, Imperial War Museum, The Lowry Centre and outlet Mall. The city centre is readily accessible, offering a fine shopping experience including the likes of Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Heals, to name but a few and with its restaurants, bars and theatres all within easy reach, it is not to be missed.

English Breakfast was overprices at over £15.00 per person. Walls were thin, thankfully hotel was not very busy.

The staff here are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, just over the road from the tram link to the city centre. Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall great value for money!

Location spot on for Lowry gallery, Man Utd & War Museum. Staff extremely helpful & pleasant. Food in restaurant at night good. Room definitely needed a good light at a mirrror for make up and lenses. We would both stay there again

This is a good-quality hotel set in the ever-expanding Salford Quays area of Manchester. Quiet location, only 15 mins on the Metro to the centre of town. Only one complaint and that is to do with their booking system. We'd booked a double room via a third-party internet site. Despite having written confirmation of this booking, on arrival, we were initially given a twin room. When we challenged this, we were told that although our original booking of a double had been confirmed in writing to us, it didn't necessarily mean that the room we wanted was available (?!). We pointed out that this was NOT our problem - it was the hotel and the third-party's. Were then told that there weren't any doubles left and again, we pointed out that we would not have booked this hotel if we had not been guaranteed a double room (we had travelled all the way from London for our anniversary weekend). A double room soon became available on the screen. Don't let this hiccup put you off - I'm sure it's just a case of the hotel ironing out a few technical hitches! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room spacious and clean. Worth getting a room with a view over the Quay.
By car From West M62: take junction 12 from the M60 which becomes the M602. At Junction 3 of the M602 follow the A5063 Salford Quays onto Trafford Road. Follow this road for approximately a kilometre, passing all the restaurants on your right hand side (Fatty Arbuckles, Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito's and Exchange Bar & Grill). At the fourth set of traffic lights the hotel is situated on the right hand side, turning right into Clippers Quay. From East M62: follow sign post Salford, take Junction 12 from the M60 which becomes the M602. At Junction 3 off the M602, follow the A5063 Salford Quays onto Trafford Road. Follow this road for approximately a kilometre, passing all the restaurants on your right hand side (Fatty Arbuckles, Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito's and Exchange Bar & Grill). At the fourth set of traffic lights the hotel is situated on the right hand side, turning right into Clippers Quay. From North M6/South M6: stay on the M6 until you reach junction 21a for M62 Manchester. Stay on the M62 until you reach junction 12 for the M60, leading you onto the M602. Then follow the above directions for A5063. From South M56: follow the signs for A5103 Manchester. At Junction 5 on M60 (this is the end of the M56) follow the signs for Stretford and continue on M60 until you reach the turn off for the M602 at junction 12; then follow the above directions for A5063. From the city centre: follow signs for A56 Chester. This will take you onto Deansgate and lead you onto Chester Road. Signs will say Old Trafford Cricket Ground/Trafford Park/Salford A5063. Continue on A56 until you reach White City Retail Park. Then follow signs for A5063 Salford, until you have crossed the iron bridge. The hotel is situated on the left.
The hotel has an ample private car park.
Clippers Bar, the hotel's main bar, is adjacent to the reception and lobby area and open throughout the day providing a range of speciality coffees, beers, wines and cocktails as well as a variety of hearty and healthy snacks and meals.
