Si tratta di una struttura a conduzione familiare, molto informale ma tranquilla e pulita. Ottima la colazione e la cortesia. Le camere sono piccole ma confortevoli e pulite. Non ci sono particolari fronzoli ma la biancheria da bagno viene sostituita quotidianamente. I ragazzi della reception sono molto disponibili e preparati su tutti i quesiti tipici dei turisti. La locazione è ottinale per visitare Londra. A due passi sia la metro che la fermata degli autobus. Ci sono anche molti fast food per uno spuntino a pochi metri. La via è tranquilla e quasi priova di traffico! Esperienza positiva. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!!! Londra splendida.

We stayed in a basic room without bath. One shared toilet didn't work very well but the other was fine as was the shower. It's not in a quiet area but we were not really bothered by noise. Desk clerk was great - very helpful. Guests of all ages and nationalities, but mostly a younger crowd. Great location for rail travelers (within view of St Pancras/Eurail terminal and very close to Kings Cross). We will stay there again.

dai precedenti commenti non avevamo molte aspettative sull'hotel, quindi il poco spazio ed il sovraffollamento a colazione era già calcolato e non ci ha infastidito. più che altro avevo richiesto (2 mesi prima!) una stanza non sotto il livello della strada e mi è stata data proprio una nel sotterraneo. inoltre la pulizia delle stanze (moquette, asciugamani e letti) era scarsina. nonostante ciò, consiglio l'hotel a chi ha poche più aspettative di un ostello, è giovane, solo o in coppia, e soprattutto non resta più di 5-6 giorni.

Hotel is closed to St Pancras and very well located to start the visit of London with bus or tube. Room is clean but too small especialy for a family with 2 older childs. Full english breakfast is served. Employees are friendly and serious.

It was exactly what we wanted. A place to sleep and a good breakfast. The rest of the time we were out sightseeing. The hotel is ideally placed right next to Kings cross St pancras 30 second walk.

The hotel is very easy to find, very central and nice for a short trip. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is also good (if you like english breakfast or toast). The rooms are a little bit small (but it's enough space for spending only a few days) and noisy (you can hear your neighbors)... The service is friendly. We spend a good time there! ;)

We stayed here during a heat wave, the room was truly horrible as far as stuffiness and temperature. In fact we ended up going out and buying a fan. The price was great, the location was right down the street from King's Cross, but to get to Piccadilly Square, etc was a taxi ride away. The room was clean, I never worry about space as long as I can reach the bed and bathroom. Was tiny, but for the price it was fine, with the exception of no air.

The hotel is pretty close to the King Cross and St. Pancreas station. Yet don't go there if you've a huge suitcase, as there is no elevator and the staircase is super narrow and spiral. The breakfast was good, with a plate of bacon and egg and baked beans, juice and coffee, as well as some buffet style han and cheese, it was more than enough to make you full. There were supermarkets and restaurants nearby so getting food and necessities wasn't a problem. The room (double with private bathroom) was small, looked a bit old but had served its function well. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Ottima posizione a pochi passi dalla metropolitana e fermate bus. Camere piccolissime (le nostre erano situate nel sottoscala e avevamo prenoatato con due mesi di anticipo), ma ristrutturate e pulite, corredate di phon, bollitore, radio-sveglia e telefono. Bagno microscopico ma nuovo e con una buona doccia. Colazione più che sufficiente sia continentale che inglese; l'unico neo la sala che disponeva di molti meno posti rispetto al numero degli ospiti quindi bisognava fare i turni. Alla fine usando l'hotel solo per dormire e fare colazione, stando poi fuori tutto il giorno, è andata bene, ma penso che a parità di prezzo e cercando un po' meglio si possa trovare qualcosa di migliore.

This is a very basic, no-frills hotel. For the price, it's what we expected. We were happy with the service and cleanliness. The location is great - right across from the Kings Cross underground. It's a quiet location with easy access to other major parts of the city. I would recommend this hotel.

First of all - we didn't get a room in the Fairwayhotel but opposite the street in Centralhotel. Quite central hotel for low-budget-travellers - big station Kingscross is within two minutes walk. The room we had was very small an had a handwashbasin a 1,20 m wide bed and a small and nearly broken cupboard inside. It was neither clean nor dirty,but astonishinly quiet. The shower and toilet was on the floor - that was only a problem on the last day, when anybody made a full-body-shaving and left a real mess. The breakfast was okay, although it wasn't (as declared) FULL english breakfast - it was just beans, egg, sausages, toast. When we asked for more toast, we didn't get one. Concluding: Advisable for low-budget-travellers with low demands.

Excellent value hotel well located near to Euston and Kings Cross stations. Rooms clean and breakfast sufficient. Obviously very basic but could not fault it for the money. The only problem we encountered was that when we rang the night before to see what time we could check in, we were told the room had been cancelled by ourselves - which it hadn't. They did sort this out for us within 30 mins but I would suggest you ring and confirm your room 24 hours before

I was highly impressed by the Fairway Hotel's excellent location (a stone's throw from King's Cross Station). The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good, if a bit limited (the cooked breakfast was eggs, bacon and baked beans.) The room was very clean and comfortable (with hairdrier, tea-making facilities and a TV). The only thing wrong with the room was it was very small. The bathroom was tiny. But if you're either asleep or visiting London, it doesn't really matter! We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel.

A parte la posizione a dir poco tattica, la struttura nel complesso offre buoni servizi (colazione con marmellate, cereali, toast e per i più temerari, uova con bacon e fagioli) ad un prezzo accettabile, considerando che si è a Londra. A noi servivano 3 camere (ensuite): 2 erano molto belle, piccoline, ma confortevoli. La terza, al piano sotto, non era accettabile: piccola, angusta e impregnata di polvere e umidità stagnanti. Peccato! A parte questa pecca (evitabilissima, sapendolo) lo consiglio vivamente!

We selected the hotel as it had a full english breakfast. however the breakfast room was so small that there were always a line formed awaiting a table. after a few days we just stopped even trying. if we knew it was going to be such a hassle we'd not booked there.

We were very satisified with the Fairway, especially having read the comments on many budget hotels in London. The staff were very helpful, and the even assisted with luggage on the narrow staircase. We were offered breakfast having arrived from Australia at 7.00am and our luggage was stored until the room was ready. The only slight criticism we could offer was that we had to provide our own soap after the first night. This hotel is excellent value for money. C'était notre premier séjour à Londres en hotel (3 nuits). Je n'ai pas beaucoup de comparaison. Les chambres sont petites mais propres, bien meublées (meubles récents, télé, radio réveil, bouilloire). Le breakfast est très bon et copieux (y compris l'english breakfast au même prix !). Il manquerait juste un salon commun pour se poser en dehors des chambres, lire les guides, échanger avec les autres clents. Michel It has been our first stay in an hotel in London. Avis concernant la chambre triple avec salle de bain privée: tout à fait satisfaisant pour un court séjour. Très bonne proximité des transports en commun. Quartier un peu pauvre au niveau restauration et animation. Chambre propre et bien équipée, dans le standard britannique. Salle de bain petite mais correcte. La chambre en question est située en sous-sol, ce qui n'empêche pas d'entendre l'activité de la gare toute proche. Mais tout à fait supportable.

It was clean but rather small. We had a 3 bed room that they shoved a 4th in. It was a little tight. We only stayed one night so it wasn't so bad. If you are travelling with younger children, it would probably have been OK. But for a family with 2 teenagers - it was tight. We were looking for a cheap, clean place to stay for 1 night in London and that is exactly what we got!

The room was extremely small and the “double†bed looked more like a glorified single bed. I should have measured just how small it was because I would wake up every so few hours to make sure I hadn’t fallen off of it yet. The toilet seat is plastic and ours was broken, so when we complained to the front desk about it, it was fixed just enough to last one more use before breaking again. The sink was so small that I couldn’t fit both hands inside it at the same time (I don’t have large hands), and you could either burn your hands or freeze them inside this sink but you couldn’t get any warm water out of it (because the hot tap is on the left and the cold tap is on the right). The windows, although double paned, wouldn’t lock, making it easily openable from the outside (the front desk didn’t understand how this could possibly be an issue). When we attempted to get breakfast, the tiny room that held about 15 people was completely packed to capacity at both times we attempted to eat that morning, so we just went to Burger King next door. One great advantage to this hotel it is so close to the subway station, making it easy to run away from your room, which is what you will want to do once you step inside it.

Hotel piccolo e spartano, ma pulito e in posizione molto comoda: dalla King's Cross Station partono collegamenti (tube e bus) per tutta la città. Consigliato per chi è abituato a viaggiare senza fronzoli e per chi usa l'hotel solo per il pernottamento e la prima colazione. Colazione poco varia (pane marmellate oppure uova e bacon), ma abbondante.

wir wurden supernett empfangen. Obwohl wir erst um 14Uhr in unser Hotelzimmer konnten, durften wir unser Gepaeck von morgens um 7.30Uhr bis dann im (eigentlich recht kleinen)Buero lagern. Ausserdem bekamen wir umsonst ein zusaetzliches Fruehstueck! Das Personal war superfreundlich und sehr zuvorkommend - in jeglicher Hinsicht. Morgens im Fruehstuecksraum musste man zwar manchmal etwas warten, aber das Fruehstueck war in Ordnung. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sauber, wenn auch klein. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert fuer alle, die guenstig ein paar Tage in London verbringen moechten!!!

En nuestro primer viaje a Londres no esperabamos encontrar un hotel que fuera a la vez tan familiar, tranquilo, agradable, limpio y bién comunicado.
