Well situated. Deluxe room 16 offers more design than convenience(no drawer for a long stay, one seat) Welcome went from execrable to very good depending on the person. No assistance for luggage on arrival, you have to discover your room by yourself, not even bonjour or bienvenue in French.I suggest: "do you speak French?" the answer, rather NO, "sorry, just bonjour et bienvenue".and not ask 3 times for the ID card of your wife when she is still in the car in front of the hotel. Exceptionnally good buffet with kind and efficient service. Would recommend for English speaking travelers. On the whole, a good stay. Convenient garage

The first room given to us was not the one ordert. The second room was very nice, but since I have payed for a higher kat. it seemed that the price was still to high. All together, everything was very nice, modern, very clean, and friendly. Breakfast for italian standert was very good. Parking not inkluded in price, but €13 are o.k. for a safe parking space in a sep. box.

Although the hotel staff were lovely and there was huge attention to detail, the location meant this was very noisy at this time of year as there were lots of people on the pavements sounds from music bars and ferries, and then the dust carts cleaning early in the morning and the traffic. The bed was good though and we slept better than thought would. Excellent range at breakfast & good recommnedation for place for evening meal.It may be fine at other times of year.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It was ok for that. The only thing I didn't find good, was, that they have a old carpet.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Ancora at the end of June and we were extreemly pleased with the Hotel. We had a room right at the front of the hotel overlooking the road and lake, but once the windows were shut and the air conditioning, on there was no disturbance through noise. All the hotel staff were very helpfull and friendly, and our shameful lack of Italian was no problem. It is in an ideal position for picking up boats and ferrys to get around the lake, and there are plenty of good bars and resteraunts in walking distance of the hotel.

Brilliant hotel, friendly staff made us feel really welcome, great location close to landing stage and restaurants. We had a family room on the top floor at the end of May, very clean and plenty of space. The fruit bowl and free water in the mini bar were a nice touch. Good choice at the buffet breakfast. Our only niggle was the noise from the room next door, tv and conversations could be heard clearly. All in all very good value for money, we would definitely stay there again.

our only "complaint" would be the noise that passed from the neighboring room on the top floor. When they put on their TV at 7AM it was as if there was an open door between the two rooms! Otherwise, the stay and room were great.

Hotel à recommander, accueil sympa, chambres à la déco au goût peut être un peu discutable mais rénovées et confortables, petit déj pantagrueliques, beaucoup de petites attentions délicates (apéro en libre service le soir par exemple, bref honnête rapport qualité-prix même si ce n'est pas donné dans un coin si touristique !

THis is a very nice hotel and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in our month-long trip in France and Italy, and we certainly found better deals for less money, but we enjoyed our brief stay very much. The breakfast is fantastic and the views are lovely. The room was fairly spacious given that we had 4 people in the room. We were thankful for the air conditioning as it was very warm, and it would have been quite noisy otherwise. I left a battery and charger and adaptor for our camera at the hotel and the staff was immensely helpful. They contacted me immediately to let me know they had found it - even before I contacted them, they packaged it and mailed to me. We received it quickly and in good shape. We were so thankful for their help.

Very comfortable and classy rooms. The woman at the desk, Laura, was very helpful to us in finding a most wonderful local restaurant. The only drawback was the lack of a parking lot nearby. The parking facilities offered by the hotel were several blocks away, difficult to find, a logistical nightmare to actually park and there was a 13 Euro fee for overnight parking.
