The staff at the Olimpia was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to assist us with our local travel plans, including calling restaurants for us to see if they served a particular dish we wanted! We were traveling with our 10-month-old daughter and they were very accomodating and welcoming to our family. The location is not on the main pedestrian street; however, it is just one block off the main shopping area. The price was very reasonable, at least during the off-season when we were there. I highly recommend this hotel.
By car Take the Bressanone/Brixen exit of the A22 motorway if you arrive from the north or the Belluno exit if you arrive from the south. Then follow the indications to Dobbiaco until you reach Cortina d'Ampezzo. By train A convenient bus service will take you from the Calalzo di Cadore railway station to Cortina d'Ampezzo town centre.
The hotel has an outdoor parking area for up to 8 cars only.A shuttle service from and to Venice airport can be arranged during the winter season.
The cosy bar is the ideal place to sit back with a hot or cold drink after a long day of skiing or hiking in the mountains.
