Good value for the price, except for the train noises during the night, since we had a front room opposite the station. Excellent breakfast and spacious room.

The hotel is situated just in front of the railway station, and it is 10-15 minutes away (by foot) from cathedral. Very friendly stuff. I would stay there again.

Il rapporto prezzo/qualità è davvero molto conveniente ma lo standard dell'hotel non è all'altezza di un 4 stelle (la struttura e tutto l'arredamento sono un po' datati). La camera doppia era piuttosto piccola (sembrava una singola!) ma almeno il bagno era spazioso e ben pulito. La camera era molto silenziosa. La colazione è ricca ed abbondante. L'hotel è situato di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria e la zona circostante non è il massimo. In 15 min a piedi si può raggiungere il centro città . Consigliato solo per soggiorni brevi e senza troppe pretese (noi ci siamo stati una sola notte durante un weekend per un concerto a Ferrara).

il prezzo è molto basso, e non ci si può aspettare la luna... però il condizionatore è rumoroso, i materassi indecenti e ci sono poche lampade, se fuori è buio nella camera non ci si vede...!

Room ok for the price I guess but poorly lit -- they could have used more than 10 watt bulbs. People not too friendly (had to ask for cappuccino for breakfast, no coffee available; map given when requested without attempt to show areas, had to ask for location on map) but efficient; friendliest people were the 6th floor maids who showed me how to work the unusual door locks. But location is great, right opposite stazione, and price is a bargain.

the hotel and rooms were very clean and good size. The staff are very helpful.The hotel is opposite the train station which is very convenient. Also there are no hidden charges, you pay exactly for what you book.A similar hotel will cost twice as much in Bologna.Overall great value.

I attended a trade show in Bologna & found that staying in Ferrara at this hotel was an excellent decision. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station. I plan on returning to this hotel for my next trip to Bologna. Also, the cost of the room cannot be beaten in respect to the convenience of the location, descent quality, etc.

The hotel gives the feeling of something which is faded away: it probably was a very good 4 stars hotel 10 years ago or more. There were crushed mosquito on the walls and some other sign of negligence but, for that price, our stay was sufficient.

It was very cold in Ferrara that night, and the heating in the room was not sufficient, it seems that the hotel was empty and they wanted to save on energy...
I think that it barely deserves its 4* rating. Recommended nonetheless (low season period). Don't trust Google Maps to find this one. PROS: Surrounding area of Ferrara is nice (a real touristic city), breakfast, free internet when available. CONS: Dated decoration, very limited parking (you have to park in the street basically).

Not was the firs time in this Hotel. Interaction with staff: good. Heating noisy in the room. Tv remote control not working.
The Hotel is easy to find. There are enough parking lots around. The way to the center is not so far. (about 20 minutes by foot) The hotel is an exellent buisness hotel.

The overall evaluation of the hotel is positive and the ratio price/quality is good. Its location nearby the railway station and not far from the centre, even not completely enjoyable, appears to be comfortable for travellers.

The only disadvantage of this hotel is that it is situated pretty far from the city's historical centre, which means some 20 minutes' walk or five to ten minutes by bus. It is matchless for those who on a business trip and good for those unwilling to move around with heavy lugguge as it is situated right across the square from the railway station. It is nice and clean, the rooms have everything you need, and the breakfast is wonderful.
Although the hotel was fully booked and I had a reservation for a double room, staff went out of their way to make a change so we could be changed into a twin room. Excellent. Elevator is very slow, people got frustrated of waiting and not knowing if it was going up or down.

Non aspettatevi il livello di un albergo a quattro stelle perché sembrerebbe non aver subito alcuna manutenzione da quando è stato aperto (o comunque dai lontani anni '70).
Ottimo per pulizia , confort e prima colazione.Consigliato.
Devo dire che non vale proprio le ****. Stanze ridotte e si sentivano i vicini parlare. La colazione era piuttosto classica, con le solite cose. Inoltre il letto non era french bed (140x190cm) ma da una piazza e mezzo (120x190cm). Nonostante questo ci siamo trovati bene. Vasca in camera, aria condizionata e riscaldamento regolabile autonomamente, pulizia elevata, televisore datato ma da 21". La posizione è molto comoda per raggiungere in pochi minuti a piedi il castello estense e palazzo dei diamanti. Praticamente di fronte alla stazione è comodo x chi viene in treno. Tutto sommato valutazione positiva.

the room is nice even if a little small. It doesn't have safety box. The bed is very comfortable, the room is silent and no noise during the night. bathroom clean. The service personnel is very kind and makes persons feel good during all the time you spend there. I guess generally a four star si more elegant, but the price is very interesting (less then some three star!) suggested!

Poor cleaning: at the arrival somebody had already used the water toilet closed we entered (and without cleaning it!!)... Staff was very cold, though highly professional Pulizia un po' dubbia: all'arrivo qualcuno aveva già usato il bagno prima di noi (purtroppo senza scaricare). Il personale assolutamente freddo, pur se professionale.

The bathroom smelt because of a problem in the water plant. I should have asked to move to another room but I understood what the problem was at 8 pm, I was going to stay there just one night, so I did not mean to lose my time to discuss and move to another room. Before leaving, the attender made a mistake in calculating my total amount. I am sure it was just a mistake, nothing more, but she should have checked it before and not after my complain. Apart from that, it has been a pleasant stay. I would definetely go back for short stays. For long ones, it is better to book a hotel in the city center, not in front of the railway station.
L'albergo è proprio di fronte alla stazione, quindi comodissimo per chi viene in treno. il centro dista circa 10 minuti a piedi. Il prezzo non è bassissimo in assoluto ma, comunque, molto vantaggioso considerando la categoria estremamente alta dell'hotel.
Restaurant was terrible. Poor choice, poor quality.

By car From the highway, follow directions to Ferrara, then to the city's railway station which is situated directly in front of the property. By train The property is located directly in front of the Ferrara railway station. By airplane The Bologna Airport is situated around 50 km from the hotel.
