Great location as a base for exploring the region--most places of interest were within an hour's drive. The only complaint is that one would use highway more frequently as it is located right at the exit. The use of a navigational device will be handy to avoid massive delays caused by traffic on main thoroughfare to Bologna. About the hotel itself, the breakfast was fair, what one would expect from a continental breakfast. The later you go, the less variety one has. The restaurant offered decent food, although perhaps a bit pricey compared to local restaurants. Minibar prices are expensive--5 euros for a small soda is too much. We bought our beverages from the supermarket in town. The minibar did not work at all in trying to keep things somewhat cool, appeared as though it was on defrost--I would have been upset if I bought one of the minibar's sodas just to find it not cool, especially after a long day in the heat. The room we had was fair; the air-conditioning was very weak though. The bathroom was of good size, although shower on small size. The room came with it's own garage which was a nice, unexpected plus. There was also a balcony for use; recommend that the hotel put a few chairs out on it. The grounds were nice and the pool came in handy, though there was confusion as to the pool's hours (12-7); not clearly stated. The pool is open normally when there is a lifeguard on duty, otherwise, one cannot use it, unless there was a party going on. Again, I would recommend the hotel have the pool open during daytime hours, even if a lifeguard is not provided. The hours of operation almost assure that the pool is used by locals and not guests as guests would be siteseeing during hours of operation. With regards to noise level; it's almost undecipherable except when there is a party going on at the pool, then you can expect to go to sleep listening to the thump-thump-thump of the DJ; this happened once during our stay. The staff were diligent in making stay nice

A 4star hotel deserves a higher level breakfast service. Rooms and public space need to be improved. The price is the best quality to be confermed.

it would be useful if you could offer standard and de luxe rooms and specify the price of each. The chief receptionist was extremely helpful as were the restaurant staff. Breakfast is not very good.

Hotel was fine (although not as good as my previous - cheaper - one in Forli). As a single female traveller going to the Heineken Festival 06, I chose this hotel for its proximity to the autodrome. However, it could hardly be further away and still be in Imola! A taxi cost me 17 euro (on a meter so not a rip off - he had to drive around to find the correct entrance). I noted the route and walked to the station afterwards, from where a taxi was 10 euros. The misleading information is not only on this website, it's printed on the hotel brochure, and reception staff weren't aware of that, either. So the web page needs correcting, and the hotel should be asked not to issue misleading info, too. It caused me some anxiety, which is a shame, as I have no other complaints(although I thought it was overpriced). But if you're going to an event at the autodrome, stay at a cheaper place in town - it's a shame to miss the gorgeous old town centre, anyway!

Camera molto buona, prezzo pagato basso.

This hotel was specifically chosen as the web page states that it is a short walk to the Ferrari autodrome. It is, in fact, 4 kilometres along a very busy main road with no pavement. We stayed at this hotel because we were visiting the autojumble and knew that we would have to carry heavy items purchased at the jumble. The actual location of the hotel made this impossible and we had to use the car. We did question these facts with the hotel staff who stated that it was not their responsibility but yours for what you put on the web page. we feel that we were mislead and are not at all happy with the misleading nature of your information.

I had a great stay at your hotel and everything went as advertised. The rooms were great, great A/C, however 5 euro for a coke was a little pricey. There were only two things I was discontent with. First, the main reason for even staying at your hotel was for the Hieniken Fest. A little more coordination between the two would have been nice. The second was I called the hotel to make the reservations and the guy told me there were no rooms available, but I went on the internet and made the reservations myself. On the good side I could only reserve it for one day, but the lady at the counter was able to make my stay for two days, which I appreciate very much! All in all my stay was great! Thank you very much!!

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The swimming facilities are wonderful. We had our five year old son with us and he adored the hotel because of the children's swimming pool and the small play area. Our room was very spacious and we had a balcony that we didn't know we were getting. The balcony was a bonus for the quiet class of wine and cigarette at night while our son was tucked up in bed. Our room comfortably took a double and single bed. The Mollino Rossa was a fantastic intoduction to Italy. The hotel is a great place to stay if you have small children. The only downside is that the hotel is close to the motorway but that is not the fault of the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good and the service was impeccable. They were most accomodating. I certainly will tell all my family and friends about the Mollino Rosso. Well done and a special thanks to the wonderful staff.
