Very nice hotel, clean rooms, perfect service, good swimming pool, nice garden. Freindly and experienced personnel, very quite, except for the days of weddings. Several times wedding occured on hotel facilities. A little bit far from the sea, reached by taxi or bus.

Excellent hotel and location, not too easy to find. Excellent staff (efficiency,a very nice welcome..).Very nice room ,ideally located for such visits as Pompei,Capri..) Very good meals ,served with good italian wine. Price is fair for this standard. A real good address near Napoli.I do not hesitate to recommend or return myself.

We stayed three first days of Eastern week. The hotel was luckily near empty, may be because it is more oriented to summer stays and wedding banquets: nice swimming pool. Hotel is very recently renovated with quality decoration. Although Hall decoration taste is questionable, rooms are excellent and nicely decorated, our superior room was superb. Toilets at the rooms are fully new and nice. Location is quiet, but not too convenient for car access, but Pompeii, Herculano, Amalfi coast are not far away.

This high fenced hotel looks like in jewel in a surrounding of garbage, garages and dark bars, very nice only on the first view and when you forget about the village an the gllomy streets leading to the hotel. Our two reserved rooms had no seaview but were dark and spooky and looked to a flat white plastic roof. But this was no problem, because it was almost impossible to open the windowshields. There was no connecting door to the childrens rooms as required. The receptionist told us that the hotel was fully booked but the restaurant was closed on friday night at half past seven and we saw no other soul or other car on the parkingarea. He send us to two restaurants nearby, but exploring them was a nightmare, so we decided to have cookies from the car and leave this place. When we came back to the hotel our bags in the rooms looked touched, all my stuff was layed out on the floor. When we wanted to check out again, the receptionist refused to hand out our passports and my creditcard again unless we would pay for the stay. The whole procedure took almost an hour and my teenage son an myself were surrounded then by three darkish men who discussed with the receptionist. Finally we checked out at 9 pm again an made our way to Rome where we arrived at midnight found a real good four star hotel. This hotel: Never again, at no price!
Magnifique endroit pour un magnifique hotel. Situation interessante pour sillonner la région. Il n'y a vraiment rien à redire . Le personnel est trés attentionné. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
This lovely hotel was an oasis in the not so lovely town of Castellammare di Stabia. The service was truly outstanding, and while the staff was busy with the steady stream of weddings in the facility, the management took excellent care of the hotel and restaurant guests. The restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was the best we had in Italy.
I STAYED 5 DAYS AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC. THE HOTEL IS CLOSE TO POMPEI AND TO THE EXITS FOR COSTIERA AMALFITANA AND SORRENTO. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE VIEW FROM THE GARDEN ROOF FANTASTIC AND THE GARDEN OF THE HOTEL ONE OF THE BEST. THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS AND THE DINNER TOO.
a little expenive but a very nice first class hotel

The place was great - all it promissed on its description. Beautiful surroundings, clean, spacious - in short a dream EXCEPT the aircondition unit in 1 of our rooms was faulty and they kept on promissing to repair it - however we later found out that they had no way of repairing it as their a/c man was on vacation. Basically they misled us, even though we got a discount on the price it does not take away from the fact that sheer stupidity/pride on their part ruined it for us

we stayed at La Medusa the first week of july it is an impressive hotel with excellent facilities. You have restaurants on the area and it is within a short distance of main attractions. Our stay was just perfect. The staff is very friendly and the building is just a paradise.

le seul reproche est l'absence de possibilite de restauration rapide pres de la piscine au repas de midi

swimming pool in dirty condition, not to use, breakfast service due to tourist groups very low, orange juice filled up with ice cubes, no recompensation for lack of service, when we complained.

Expensive - but as usual you get what you pay for in life and the stay was great
The hotel is a vast fin de siecle hotel on a grand scale which seems to specialize in weddings. There is a Roman garden adjacent to a lemon grove, and a glorious swimming pool, with views of the bay of naples and Vesuvius foreboding overhead. Pompeii is only one exit away on the Autostrada (if you know where you're going). The formal dinner was served on a covered, enclosed porch with what appeared to be a dance floor. They upgraded us and treated us royally -- because the hotel was uncharacteristically (they told me) vacant on the first of August. My only criticism was the absence of meaningful directions to get to the hotel. It is in the hills far from the heart of Castelmarre di Stabia (which is an ugly industrial town), is poorly marked, and we had no easy access to a phone to get prior directions.
By car From the Autostrada del Sole (A1) motorway, exit at Castellamare di Stabia. Take Via Statale 145 and then turn to the left. At Pomepi, turn right onto the SP467 street and take Via Provinciale Casone. Turn to the left onto Seconda Traversa Via Messigno and then right onto the SP187 street. Turn left onto Via Canneto Prima, then right onto Via Petraro and then left onto Via Motta Bardascini. Turn left onto Via Bardascini and then right onto the SP14 street. Enter in Castellammare di Stabia continue along the SP14-Via Giuseppe Cosenza-Via Madonna delle Grazie and then turn left onto Passeggiata Archeologica, where the hotel is situated.
The hotel features a free private parkingA transfer service is available, upon request, to and from the airport and the railway station. This service is subject to charges.
SUITE A unique, ample and luxurious room, with a lounge area, a double bed and a bathroom with Jacuzzi shower and sauna and a wonderful view over the swimming pool and the Gulf of Naples.
Irresistible during the warmer months to refresh and enjoy yourself, the park appeals guests also during the coolest season. Just a step and you can enjoy an aperitif by the pool, then drink a glass of Italian wine on the splendid terrace in the shade of leafy branches.
