Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a joy every morning to start each day, and dinner every evening was superb. The hotel was welcoming, superbly efficient, with staff that I found exremely helpful. The wine list was excellent It is the first time we have stayed in Italy at a hotel not on the beach and I found I did not miss the sea views We will return to the Torino- I can give it no higher praise than that

First time in this area or this hotel. We really enjoyed both. Recommend half-board - choice and quality of food very good. We were there beginning of October - might be less relaxing in high season. We would go again.

This is hotel is excellent value for money. We had a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend to others. So lucky to have found it on the internet. Exceeded standard and expectation.

Nice little hotel, very comfortable and decorated with a lot of passion (an old Moto Guzzi is exposed in the lobby). The room itself looked exactly as on the fotos in the internet. Unfortunately you could hear not only every word from your neighbors room, but also his TV show running (and vice versa). Additionally twice within 5 days stay some noise was down there at the street at 7 a.m. (I assume the garbage collection, but also on Saturdays??). The reception was astonished about that. There are no "do not disturbe" signs at the door, and even if you lock the door from inside the general key of the staff can open the door! Keep that in mind and better react whenever somebody is knocking at the door, otherwise they will enter the room even unwantedly. Even though everybody was very friendly (even German speaking!), the noise was disturbing us. The pool is not heated, so it was not really usable (not even the whirlpool!) anymore by beginning of September. But the beach is really just down the street and there we even got deck-chairs in the 2nd row without having to pay additional fees (in general row 3-5 is included in the price). Beach was nice and typical for Italy. I would not go there during summer vacation time because it will be uncomfortably crowded. But the beach is ideal for families with little children (I could walk into the ocean for at least 50-70 m on sandy ground until the water was about 1,3 m deep). And jumping within the waves was also very funny. There are furthermore a lot of restaurants just around the corner (between the hotel and the beach is a little shopping mile), some quite cheap and with less quality, some exclusive. A lot of other guests of our hotel booked half pension and enjoyed the obviously good cuisin of our hotel (which was for sure cheaper than eating outside). Additional remark: if you stay in this region you could go on a whalewatching tour in Imperia (village ca. 12 km from Diano Marina).

We travel extensively therefore see many places. This must rate one one of our best stays. Having not been to this part of Italy before we were unsure what to expect. The hotel was chosen on the reviews and not the stars. Everything was truly excellent. We had half board. The food was the best we have had, the quality and the quantity were 5 star. We stayed for 5 days and wished it had been longer. We had a car but the hotel is 150 steps away from the railway station and less to the charming town with the beach 5 mins away. Excellent swimming pool and sun lounge area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Friendly good natured staff,very good food (presentation and variety), comfortable rooms all adds up to very good value for money. Would recommend more to couples with older children.

Excellent hotel with outstanding value for money. Parking dirt cheap (approx. £2-20 per day). Railway station only 100 yards away. Italian railways (Trenitalia) very cheap and customer-friendly. Food at the Torino is particularly good, with a varied buffet breakfast every day. Dinner is excellent; four courses including Ligurian starters, soup, main course, and dessert. The public areas are very relaxing, spacious, and comfortable. Drinks prices are very reasonable. There's even a motorbike in the lobby!!! Could not fault this hotel at all. We had a large superior room with balcony, electric shutters, huge bathroom, on a half-board basis. All this for approx £65 per room per night! My advice to anybody is...go there, you won't be disappointed. Paul.

very good and clean city hotel, friendly personnel, small swimmingpool but seaside is one minute walk. Guests are mostly italian families. The rooms are quiet, but in the high season the music outside the hotel is playing until 1 am.
