Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on the first row near to the city road and a railway. In the absence of A/C in hotel you have to keep your windows open and there is lots of noice from the street. The pool being the closest to road is also a noisy place with limited open hours. However, goog location from point of view of access by car to Riviera and mountains, but not for quite stay in the hotel.

l'albergo è semplice ed essenziale. il personale è gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. la posizione è comoda sia per chi arriva con il treno (perchè ha la fermata del bus vicina) sia per la vicinanza al mare (50mt). secondo noi la marcia in più dell'albergo è la cucina del signor Cosimo che è squisita e davvero speciale: ricche porzioni e genuinità del cibo.

A familiar atmosphere with really friendly employees. Excellent service that considered individual wishes even if they differed from the payd standards. Flexibility at lunch - the meals were always delicious and abundant! We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Napoleon!!!

Small rooms and a lot of noise in the mornings. Rooms facing the road are the noisiest. However, the rooms were clean and were made up promtply. Breakfast ok but not much choice. Staff were helpfull although they struggled with English. Hotel is about 20 mins walk into the main tourist area of Diana Marina . Pleasent swimming pool and all in all about what you would expect from a small holiday hotel at that price.

Napoleon is a clean, friendly and nice hotel with a good pool area. However, it is on the main road and the railway runs next to the hotel. Because there is no air conditioning or fan one needs to keep the windows open all night and it was difficult to sleep with the noise. Furthermore, this is written on the venere.com home page: "The beach of ownership is on 50 mt. in distance from the entrance of the Hotel". But the hotel has no beach. This was a great disappointment as we had chosen the hotel for their pool AND beach access. The text on the venere.com should be revised for clarity.

Room appeared to be clean but there were ants in the bathroom. I was not impressed with dinner. The buffet breakfast was good.

We vacationed in Europe (UK, Fr., Italy, SW) as a family of four (4) - 2 parents and 2 teens ages 13 & 15. The facility served us well for our 1 evening stay. We would stay here again.

The hotel provided an adequate for a single night accomodation. The noise from the road and nearby railway were obtrusive but did not prevent sleep. We did ask if another room was available but were informed that they were full. The choice was made primarily because of its general geographical location for our journey. I would probably choose a higher rated hotel if I were visiting that area again, notably one with air conditioning in the room.

Was a nice hotel ina quiet part of Northern Italy. Hotel has an excellent pool and is about 10 minutes walk to the main drag of Diano marina, where we found the restaurants excellent and very cheap. Nice place for a relaxing time.

Overall the room was reasonable. The view of the main road was neutralised by the pleasant gardens and pool. However there was no means to cool the room, It was suffocatingly hot at night with no fan or air conditioning. We had to open the window on to the very noisy road and railway nearby. The room was very small and the main problem was that every time you showered, the entire bedroom floor was soaked with leaking water from the bathroom. Also, the bed came with uncomfortable, hard and too large pillows, so your head was held at an uncomfortable 45 degrees. I had asked for a room with a balcony but this was not given, and when we queried this with the receptionist, showing the web confirmation printout, she could not explain this omission. Compared to our hotels in Nice, France (for the same price) this was way below standard in comparison.

Yhe hotel is ok but the air condition isn't. We belived it to be in the roooms but it wasn't, only in the hall and in the dining room. We felt pretty angry about this because we felt we had been mislead by the information given.
