We had a room with a view. The hotel is nicely furnished with a lot of antiques. It is situated 50 meters away from the boulevard and the very nice beach. From the hotel it is easy to reach the Etna and Taormina. They provide a very good breakfast buffet. And they offer you a parkingcard for € 6,-- for 24 hours.

Villa Mora is a lovely small hotel which offers good value accomodation.Plus points are,Very helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms with air conditioning & just across the road from the beach.Negative points(for some people)may be,some rooms may be subject to train noise & not have any view,no safety deposit boxes at hotel & rooms may be a little small for longs stays.Overall i would recommend for shorter stays.

I spent only one night there, but was very impressed with how beautiful the Hotel was, and how kind the people were. It was an excellent location, offset from the busy street and quiet.

We had a family room with a large double bed and bunkbeds for 2 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was excellent - dont get there late as it runs out! Run by a lovely v helpful couple who speak italian , english and german perfectly!

Excellent location opposite beach (ideal for pre-breakfast swim). Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Our room at back was adequate with small balcony but no view. Rooms at front looked superior. Breakfast above average. Good choice of places to eat(try Il Nettuno).Preferable spot to over-touristy Taormina. Can be difficult to find: head for seafront (lungomare), a one-way street. Parking can be tricky (& possibly 4 euros a day between 4-8pm - other times free. Recommended. Fair value for money

Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Location near the beach and restaurants. Room (with very comfortable bed) had balcony with partial view of the sea. Parking could have been a problem, but OK out of season. Ideal for visiting Taormina.

Small and very homely hotel. Rooms are small, but very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Possible problems: 1) The hotel has 4 floors and no elevator - people who has difficulty with climbing stairs must take it into account. 2) The noise of trains was heard pretty well in the room. Though I cannot say it was too annoying.

Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio.

La Senora was very helpful, sending us to the best seafood restaurant we tried all around Sicily, so we went there both nights! She loaned me her guide book when we went to Reggio Calabria to see the 5th C. BC statues, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Great location, although it's too bad there was a building right across the street with scaffolding. Hopefully that won't last too long. We were there early enough in the Spring not to have the parking problems some people have reported.

We were surprised about the Unfriendliness of the owner! Often she made us feel like beeing the greatest fools on earth and not her guests! Her employees were friendly and kind. We expected seaview but were just looking at a wall - maybe there are some nicer rooms? It was very loud as well inside as outside the hotel. We would never go back. The surounding is fine, Sizilie beautiful!

Good comfortable Hotel situated virtually on sea front. Very convenient for local bars and restaurants etc. Unfortunately sea views from our bedroom balcony were almost totally obscured by another Hotel which is being renovated at present

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mora. All staff were very welcoming, informative and we had interesting discussions about life in Sicily /England. The owners take great pride and care in the presentation of the hotel and the services provided. The rooms were not big but very attractive and comfortable. We had the bonus of a room with a balcony/view to the sea - albeit at an angle. The excellent sandy beach was only 50 metres away and very pleasant for swimming. Breakfast was excellent. The bus to Taormina was only 100 metres away - the ride was interesting towards spectacular and quick and cheap! We also enjoyed the unpretentiouness and value of Giardia Naxos. Overall we thought Villa Mora was outstanding value particularly compared to prices in Taormina and would thoroughly recommend it.

Great location, minutes from beach & main area. A short trip by car to Taormina. Breakfast was great. Hotel is a little old but clean though. Overall we were happy. didnt really like the bathroom/toilet/shower all in one, but we didnt expect too much more from a 2 star hotel. would recommend this hotel.

A very charming hotel, beautifully decorated and close to the beach and amenities. Car parking a little difficult but due to the non-aggresive car parking attendants who were very helpful, this problem was overcome quite easily. The manageress was very helpful and if we returned to Sicily we would happily stay at this hotel again.

It is a family runned hotel and very hard to be found. We were asked for 5 Euro extra a day for air conditioner. But in Venere advertisment, A/C charge should be included in quote. Anyhow, they did offer good breakfast.

A nice place to stay. But need to change Bus or Taxi from the train station and the bus is not that frequent. Apart from this, it is a reasonably priced hotel with clean and spacious room and nice environment.

The room could have been bigger for the price. The breakfast room and breakfast itself were good. The parking was an issue in having to pay between 09:00 and 21:00. On the whole it was fine.

Excellent hôtel. Staff efficace et cordial. Ambiance accueillante. A recommender.

We found Villa Mora to measure up in every way with our expectations. Staff were gracious, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. We wish that the restaurant was open for other meals, as it was very attractive and handy. The only drawback was the chancy nature of nearby parking, but staff was helpful with advice in this regard. We would happily come back, and will not hesitate to recommend Villa Mora to others. Sincerely, Ted and Grace Curtin, Plymouth, Mass. USA
