We enjoyed our short trip to Paris and the George Sand very much. We chose La Defense to get to know a new part of Paris. By metro takes only 15min downtown. Great sushi restaurant just nearby, as well a little supermarket and delicious bakery.

on internet the pics are really differents but when you arrive there is really pooor, sad, ugly i didnt like it, the brekfast was pooor poor, the rooms very smalls. i didnt like it. :(

There was no information in the rooms as to what was available within the hotel eg breafast,TV channels available or any restaurants close by, so we ate mainly in the centre of Paris every day. I was very dissapointed that there were no facilities for tea or coffee in the room for when you awake, was told when asked that we had to go down for coffee. The map leading to the hotel was long way round, we found a shorter, direct route. When arriving at hotel there were decorators in the entrance was covered in dust covers and paint ,so first impression was not good. The room was very clean but did smell of fresh paint (not really a moan as it proved that the room had recently been refurbished). The attendance at the reception was fairly good. On the whole not too bad but I would not book again.

What a wonderfully elegant hotel. I was shocked having only paid 50 euros a night. It is not in the center of Paris(in La Defense) but the hotel is about 200 meters from the local train station(not Metro)- just a ten minute ride from St Lazare station. So if you want a bit of luxury at a reasonable price this is a great option. I was sorry I had only booked for one night.

Unfortunately a renovation of the hotel was in progress. This has caused some annoyance. But it’s renovated in the original style which is very nice. The public transportation to the city of Paris is on a few minutes walk.

The hotel is being redecorated, so it was somewhat messy. The room was beautyful. But breakfast was served amidst the rebuilding. We were charged 3 times breakfast while only 2 were used. Because I paid with a creditcard and later recieved the bill I noticed that. It could not be altered anymore because i paid by creditcard.

I had a good stay at the hotel. However, I was disappointed that I was led to believe that breakfast was included and was not corrected until I was checking out and I had to pay an additional fee. That was the only thing to ruin my impression of the hotel- other than that I had a very lovely stay.

Bell’albergo, silenzioso, tranquillo, pulito. Personale gentile e disponibile. La zona è tranquilla, anche di sera. Poco turistica, ma meglio così. Un po’ difficile raggiungerlo la prima volta, se non si arriva in auto ma con i mezzi pubblici: le indicazioni su Venere.com e sul sito dell’hotel sono poco chiare. Ottimo il treno, la vicinanza della stazione SNCF favorisce gli spostamenti anche serali, visto che il bus dopo le 22 non arriva più e dalla Defense non è bellissima la passeggiata con il buio. Non abbiamo mai preso la colazione in albergo, ma ci sono boulangerie, bar e supermercati poco distanti. Il minifrigo in camera, poi, è comodissimo. Ottimo il prezzo praticato con Venere.com!
