hotel front view The 4-star hotel Marengo is situated in Spinetta Marengo, 1.8 miles (3 km) from Alessandria city center. Owing to its good position, guests will easily reach the hotel from all directions. We are just in front to the museum of the Parco di Marengo. The Hotel has 72 rooms, 50 double and 22 single, all the rooms are fitted with air conditioning, cable tv, Wall hairdrayer, allarm service, refrigerator bar and direct telephone line. Our Hotel guests can use our parking area next to the hotel and the parking facilities in our garage.

Rooms were clean but a bit small. Airco in the room didn't work sufficiently: it wasn't possible to put the switch in the lowest position because it was programmed for not getting lower than the middle position; this resulted in too hot rooms with temp. not getting lower than 24,5 Celsius. Our dining experience exceeded the overall impression we had of the hotel: dining room had a much better working airco, presentation and quality of the food were very good, and service by the friendly staff was good despite the poor knowledge of another language like english or french.

By car From Turin-Milan on the A21 highway, take the exit Alessandria Est.From Genoa on the A26 highway, take the exit Alessandria Sud.
Restaurant Giuditta della Fraschetta offers excellent regional and italian food even for sophysticated tequest. Hotel Marengo includes a conference centre that offers 4 rooms equipped with all the facilities necessary for educational programmes, businnes or scientific meetings and conference. The Hotel offer a special Day meeting or Full day meeting at reasonable price for small and big events.
