Santa Catalina Hotel is located in the residencial area of Ciudad JardÃn, in the very centre of Doramas Park, with views to the sea or to the same subtropical gardens. Very near the main commercial areas in the city (Triana Street, Mesa y López Street, shopping centres,...), places of interest (Palacio de Congresos, Institución Ferial, Alfredo Kraus Auditorium) and superbly connected to both the harbour and the airport.

Public areas were even nicer than anticipated. Distance from the beach misrepresented. Would have enjoyed the terrace of our room much more if chairs had been provided. Food was of highest quality, surrounding parkland beautiful. Had trouble finding the hotel (we'd rented a car) because it's name was absent from the entrance sign, which announced "Casino". Very little information at hotel about places to visit in Las Palmas OR Gran Canaria.

We had a wonderful stay at the Santa Catalina, this is our second time there, and soon we will book again. OIujr thanks to Francisco on Reservations, he is wonderful.

Beautifull accomodation in post colonial style, professional and friendly personal, good food, drinks and marveleous breakfast. Hotel is situated between the old and new city with a free sight on the harbour. Taxi's are cheep. When you plan a new years stay like we did then study the local habits about new years celebration before you go and: don't forget your tuxedo.

knowledge of english language is quite vital for a tourist hotel, this applies most of all for the reception desk and the room service.

Bar Carabela Just next to both the hotel's lobby and the principal terrace. You will enjoy a careful service and a unique drinks selection, sepcialized in cocktails. Timetable: from 10:00 to 01:00 hrs. Bar Tortuga From 10:00 to 04:00hrs. Holidays until 05:00hrs.
