double room The hotel has forty-two ensuite bedrooms decorated in marine-style which overlook the busy Cork waterway. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with colour TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, ironing facilities, a complementary tea & coffee tray. The accommodations have been decorated with your comfort in mind and many overlook the river Lee.
The full Irish breakfast and the continental buffet breakfast are served in the restaurant from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Stayed 2 nights. The hotel was a great place to stay if you have a car, but too far and hilly to walk into town without one. I did like the tranquil water view from the front room that we had. Breakfast on both mornings was hectic with the buses of French tourists that were staying there. Cobh itself is well worth seeing, pretty and historic. One of the best places we visited in Ireland.

Very disappointed with this hotel. 3rd floor room - no elevators, this should be noted for elderly or disabled - no offer of help - no one at the desk most of the time-- paper thin pillow & thin, rock hard mattress - could have slept better outside on the ground. Will not be back - do not recommend.
By car From Cork city: take the road for Rosslare/Waterford (N25), then exit at Fota/Cobh. Pass the entrance to Fota and continue over the bridge. Turn right after the bridge and continue towards Cobh along the riverside. The Rushbrooke hotel is located 200 metres after the ferry on the riverside.
The hotel has a private car park.
