Lovely woodland environment. Very good value for money. Well appointed and comfortable. Would have liked better internet access but this is the only minor criticism. Owner wonderfully helpful, above and beyond what was necessary. Very good stay.

I wanted something outside of Berlin since I had a car and this was a good choice. We originally had difficuling finding it, but only because we erred on a nearby road name. Should be easy to find. We arived late and everything was closed up, but after finding the door bell (not easy to read) our room was ready waiting for us. Very pleasantly surprised to find that our quad room was actually a suite with 2 connecting rooms that share a bath. Great value for the price. No AC meant leaving windows open for ventilation. This allowed numerous bugs to come in. Overall positive experience and would stay again.

An excellent hotel in relation to its price, with spacious and clean rooms and very quiet surroundings (situated in an old Russian artillary park). Good connection by train with the city centre of Berlin, with the possibility to buy tickets at the hotel. The railway station is a few minutes (by car) from the hotel. Excellent breakfast and possibility to have dinner at the hotel on certain evenings in the week. Very friendly staff. We could certainly recommend this hotel for families with children (price/quality!) but you do need a car to get there.

We were very positive suprised when arriving at Sperlinghof. We expected one five-persons room, but we got the key of a small appartment with two seperate rooms, a kitchen and 5 five separate beds. It was also a very quiet environment.

In relation to the price it is a very good hotel. Good breakfast. Good management. Clean room. We will stay there again when we go to Berlin.

It's a low budget hotel, the photographs were positive (exactly the right angle, and leaving out the surroundings). The toilet flushed very poorly, we had to give a helping hand (litteraly, so you can imagine what that means). The shower couldn't handle all the water while you were taking a shower. The suggestion that it is a good hotel for cyclists and that you could visit Berlin from there by bike, was not correct, so became clear when we arrived. Breakfast was limited, and we were with three and two of us were bigger eaters .... We could get more bread, but that didn't go easy or alltogether friendly. On Internet it was said that all the rooms had a refrigerator. We had a double and a single room and in the single room there was no refrigerator. One day they had forgotten to put back new towels in the single room. Happily we were able to privode them from the double room, because at 00.00 hour you can't solve that problem with the management. Internet had filled in the "special offer" automatically, this was not known by the hotelmanager, although in the end he gave us the special offer too.

This was one of the few places we found that had room for our family of 4. We had 4 beds in two rooms (2 TV's) with our own bathroom. Staff was very helpful with our tour of Berlin - we were able to purchase tour tickets at the hotel and were given good maps and rail information. Location was quiet and the rooms were spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was included and was very good. I would stay there again.
