The property, decorated in Art Nouveau style, was built in 1915 and is located right in the centre of the town, the ideal position to visit the most important tourist sights on foot, such as the Calvinist Church, the Déri museum and the Csokonai theatre. The hotel, comfortable and elegant, features many amenities and a qualified staff offering you an unforgettable stay: cozy and large guest rooms and suites, a restaurant with terrace, a bar, a souvenir shop as well as conference and meeting rooms. suite The hotel features 205 single and double rooms as well as suites with a private bathroom. All of the rooms are equipped with a direct dial telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, kitchenette, hairdryer, and heating. Baby cots, non smoking, air conditioned and connecting rooms are available upon request. Small pets are accepted.
A continental breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.Breakfast can be served directly in your room, on request.

Good location, poor outdated facilites, shabby rooms in need of renovation. Hardly comparable to a four star hotel in western Europe. The location was great, everything else sub par. Had to ask at breakfast for basic items e.g plates and tea. Also, there is a dodgy bar underneath inside the hotel building and a sleezy atmosphere in the lobby in the evening. The spa facilites were also outdated and changing rooms smell bad. Great jacuzzi, tho! Just don't expect a 4* experience or you'll be sadly disappointed.

We had the worst rooms ever reserved with 4 stars.First of all istead if a single room my mother got a twin room, old furniture, spacious rooms but unfriendlynot more than 2star hotel.The only good thing is it's position.Good food in the restaurant if you want to have a dinner, breakfast was good, coffee bad,juices are colored with chemicals not recommended.

On arriving at the hotel they did not have my confirmation but since travelling of season this was not a problem. Old hotel badly renovated.

A big deception ! The first room was not ready at my arrival (7 P.M.) and then I discovered the bed was foldable (! - the kind you would not put your mother-in-law on). I asked for another room with a normal bed and I got it. But there was a fiesta in the hotel restaurant, with music till 4 A.M. ! In a hotel I want to SLEEP. Difficult there.
By car From Budapest: take the M3 motorway and then the main road n.33. The distance is approximately 220 km. By train From Debrecen railway station you can reach the hotel by tram (3 stops) or by taxi (15 minutes). By airplane From Debrecen airport you can take a taxi.
The hotel features a parking located in front of the hotel.The hotel organizes a transfer to and from Budapest airport on request and subject to charges.
The elegant Aranybika restaurant offers international and Hungarian cuisine. Vegetarian and diet menus are available upon request.
