However wrote the description on the site must not have visited for years. It may have been a nice hotel years ago but it sure is not nice today.

Hotel was very similar to the Web pictures. However, there is a erotic dance bar in the basement of the hotel, and 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there the music was loud enugh to wake us on the 4th floor. Small dog resident in lobby bit my wife as she walked through. Tough sleeping with the loud music.

By far the worse hotel during our time in Switzerland and by no means the cheapest. This is not good value for money. The breakfast is not worth mentioning. We brought our own snacks from the room down to the breakfast room. Do yourself a favour and stay outside of Interlaken in one of the smaller towns. I've never had any bad experiences with hotels I booked on venere but this one is not worth having on your site.
By car From the highway, take exit Grindelwald/Wilderswil and follow the indications to Grindelwald and the railway station Interlaken West, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. By train Interlaken West railway station is only 2 minutes on foot from the hotel. By airplane Bern airport is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. By public transport it is about 1 hour away. Take the airport shuttle to Bern central station, change to the train to Interlaken and get off at Interlaken West.Zurich and Geneva airports are a two and a half hour away, by car or train. Take the train directly from the airports to Interlaken West.
Guests can park in the hotel garage, subject to charges.
