This was the second time in four years that we have stayed at Al Cambio. One of the reasons that we returned to the Piedmonte was to stay at this gracious place! A highlight of our two week trip to Italy was the wonderful dinner we prepared in our suite and enjoyed in these hospitable surroundings. We will return!!

You should have a map on your confirmation message. You are not on ordinary maps and the way is difficult for locals to describe to forringers!

The real disappointment was that the pool was not heated. We had chosen Al Cambio because it is listed at your web page that Al Cambio has a heated pool. Quite important when you arrive in May, and look forward to a swim in the pool. Unfortunately, that was not very tempting when the temperature was below 20 degrees. You must amend this discrition on the Internet, particularly because most hotels do not advertise that there is a HEATED pool. When we found one, it was quite unsatisfactory to discover that, alas, the pool was not heated! Apart from that we were received very friendly, and the recommendation of having our dinner at the restaurant which were located more closely to Al Cambio than the resaturants in Aqui Terme, turned out to be a success! The restaurant was in fact superb. We will definitely visit the restaurant in the future. The staff at Al Cambio did a very good job recommending that restaurant.

A beautiful and relaxing holiday, but would have been quieter without 10 children staying.
Al Cambio was truly the gem of our 19 day trip! The rooms were tastefully decorated, each one individual, and featuring exquisite furniture and accessories. As we were traveling with companions, we were able to enjoy the beauty of several rooms. Ours was equipped with a kitchnette uniquely discreet, enclosed in an armoire. The setting was so comfortable and inviting that along with our friends, we shopped, prepared dinner in the kitchen, and enjoyed a delightful Saturday night in Al Cambio's luxious setting.

The hotel was excellent, but it has no restaurant, nor does the village it is in. Expensive compared with the nearby town of Acqui Thermi (which has the nearest decent restautants).
