We booked a premium room so that we coud see the water. We were given a room on the 1st floor (2nd US). There was a wedding in the ballroom directly below our room that went on from 6pm to 12:30am. It was difficult to even hear CNN. We had gone out for most of the evening, but when we returned, the desk could do little for us. The next morning I spoke to the young woman at the desk, and she was apologetic. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry, this was not well handled by the management. It was clear from talking to the staff that the manager knew about the problems but had a wedding to accommodate--and the guests were quite frankly, not on his radar. As this is not high tourist season in Chioggia, the manager should not have booked those rooms; he needs to understand his property--and take care of his guests.

The price is on a par with similar rooms in similar hotels in Tuscany, and especially, Venice. The bathrooms are large and very well done. The rooms themselves arel ovely, and ours looked out over the seaport. The breakfast was superior to most. I recommend that detailed instructions be given on how to drive to the hotel from the major North/South Road (11, 319?). It was almost impossible to find the hotel and to get out again! It is at the far end of a pedestrian mall, and cars are allowed through -- but overall, the Chioggia area is larger than one suspects, and it isn't just a matter of heading in and out!

very good & helpful reception staff good location, very comfortable room, very clean.however, shower curtaining needs improvement. lovely breakfast room, coffee to strong for my taste.would have preferred non continental roast which tastes burned to me.the bread rolls were awful,no taste or texture, like eating polystyrene.good bread & croissants are available in Chioggia.did,nt use the outside bar,as the musak was abominable screechy ,only appreciated by tone deaf youngsters, Shame, as the location was good for people watching

This was our first time in this hotel. The ferry to Venice is at 9 in the morning. If you prefer not to wake up so early, the alternative is a ferry-bus-ferry travel that takes one hour and a half. It has only 8 parking spaces in a non drive village.

Mgr was great. receptionist was lasy and inefficient. El Gato restaurant down the prominade was very good. Excellent food and adequate service.
The best hotel in Chioggia - definitelly not cheap, though prices drop outside High Season. You can't beat the location, just a few steps from the vaporetto stop. The views from the breakfast hall are fine (and breakfast is good too). If you arrived to Chioggia by train and decided to walk into town (15/20 min - apart from the first 5 minutes along a busy road this is the best way to get to the hotel if you don't have a lot of luggage), ignore the signs directing you to the left after you cross the lagoon - walk straight on instead.

Very fine place to stay for one or more nights. Very good restaurant. All the sights only a few minutes away!

Ein wunderbares Hotel, mit extrem freundlichem Personal und hervorragendem Service. Kommen ganz sicher wieder
Our hotel was great, but there was a lot of construction going on in the immediate area, which was pretty intrusive. Of course, there is nothing that the hotel can do about this. I guess it would be nice if the hotel could provide instructions on how to get there from the A4 on the web site.
