hotel front view Best Western Swiss Cottage is a charming Victorian townhouse hotel located right next to an underground station which has links to the Eurostar terminal and many tourist attractions, such as Madame Tussauds, Big Ben, Lord's Cricket Ground, and Wembley Arena. The hotel's pleasant, residential neighborhood enjoys a conveniently central location near Regent's Park, while being sheltered from the city traffic and noise. The hotel's owners are keen antique collectors and the evidence of that can be seen everywhere. The lounge, both function suites and most of the bedrooms are decorated with objects d'art, period furniture, exquisite paintings and fine tapestries.

double room Each bedroom has been individually decorated and many are furnished with authentic Victorian period pieces such as antique sofas, ornamental desks and wardrobes. Others have a slightly more modern feel, however the original style has been retained wherever possible. All rooms are equipped with hairdryers, colour TV with sports and news satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone with voicemail/dataport, and clock radios. Other items, such as ironing facilities, baby cots, and fans are available on request.

Very good deal. It's an older mansion, but the room was perfectly clean, the bathroom entirely new and modern. I was in an alcove with 3 rooms and sound from other rooms could be heard through door, but luckily no one inconsiderate during my stay. Outside sound very low as it's really in an upscale residential neighborhood. Wish the wireless was free, but otherwise a very good value if you don't mind being a bit outside of central London.

We enjoyed our stay. the hotel is comfortable, very quiet, and close to the tube station, which makes it easy to get around. There are restaurants of many differenct kinds and local shops a short walk away. We would stay there again.

La camera di fronte alla reception è abbastanza rumorosa, si sente praticamente tutto. La prima notte è stato difficile dormire a causa di un ospite che ha suonato il pianoforte fino a notte fonda. Nel complesso siamo stati bene, la metro è vicina, la zona è tranquilla e in pochi minuti si arriva in centro. hotel pulito e tutto sommato carino. stanza spaziosa, bagno un po' piccolo.
