b&b - exterior The Vigna San Matteo bed & breakfast is housed in a charming farmhouse dating back to the 1920's, situated between Rome and the famous town of Frascati, providing the perfect relaxing base for those who wish to explore both the beautiful Castelli Romani area as well as the Eternal City. The property, featuring three large rooms, a kitchenette, a cosy living room, a large garden and two ample terraces overlooking the vineyards that produce renowned Frascati wine, also provides guests with a unique opportunity to combine their stay with activities such as Italian language lessons and personal coaching. The b&b is also equipped with an internet connection. Furthermore, guided tours of the city are available upon request.

double room The Bed & Breakfast offers three finely furnished and brightly-lit rooms, each equipped with a comfortable double bed, a fan and heating. A colour TV may be available upon request. Guests also have access to a shared bathroom, cosy living room and kitchenette.
The continental breakfast is served in the small dining room between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.During the summer months, it may be served on the terrace.

This B&B is much more like a self contained appartment, only without the cooking. So, the B&B is actually never fully booked, unless all guests know each other. Excellent for groups or families. It's a tranquil, homely place with lovely views of the city below and the Colli Albani. The decor is outdated, but in a very charming way. Very well maintained, bathroom was impeccable. Area is quite inaccessible from the city, but the hostess Silena was very helpfull in bringing us to and fro Anagnina metrostation. And she is a very gentle lady who's eager to speak english. May be inconvenient if you need to be independant, but we had a lovely stay. Also, a terrific supermarket's just a few steps away, and restaurants are in walking distance.

One of the best B&B's I have visited. The Host went out of her way to help. It would be a pleasure to visit again.
By car From the G.R.A.-Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road which circulates the city of Rome, take exit n.21 Tuscolana in the Frascati direction. The property is situated around 5 km from the exit at number 1661. By train From the Anagnina underground station, take bus line 506 and get off at the Passolombardo-Tuscolana stop, only 250 metres from the property. By airplane The structure is situated around 40 km from the Fiumicino Airport and only 10 km from the Ciampino Airport.
Free parking facilities are available on the premises.A free shuttle service is available twice a day to transport guests to and from the town-centre of Frascati as well as to and from the Anagnina underground station, linked to the city-centre of Rome.
The property features two large and well-equipped sun terraces, offering splendid panoramic views which stretch as far as the city centre of Rome.
