Hotel Jolly Bergamo was a really nice place to stay. It was very central to all the local sights and also near to the train/bus station, which made things very easy for us. We really enjoyed our stay here. one tiny complaint was that the residents bar lacked any atmosphere. this however is a small price to pay overall for an excellent hotel.

I had a very comfortable stay at the hotel! Thanks to the hotel stuff, they helpted me to sort out some of my problems. I couldn't find any open pharmacy at midnight (appartenly, there is no 24-hours pharmacy in Bergamo or even a supermarket!), and a member of stuff came up with a solution! Also they helped me with a lot of tourist information, gave a good advice where to eat, etc. Also the position of the hotel is quite convenient. very close to the bus/train station (which is perfect when you're rushing to the airport) Also it's only 15-20 min walk to the funiculare which takes you to the old town.

Very nice, clean hotel central to the train station, downtown and old town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of breakfast items. Only wish we could have stayed in Bergamo longer.

We were very disappointed with the Hotel Jolly Bergamo. Arriving at 2am with a one year old child after a frustrating wait in the Bergamo airport taxi queue, I was a little taken aback by the locked doors and having to wait for someone to respond to the bell to let us in. After a painfully slow check in process we proceeded to our room to discover the cot we had requested was not present. After returning to reception I was informed with a shrug that the staff member was on his own and had no idea where the cots were kept but he would leave a note for reception so that we could have a discount. Following a sleepness night with a wriggly toddler in the bed with us we were told at reception that the most they could do was cancel the charges for the two beers we had drunk from the mini bar. Overall we felt let down as we had splashed out £150 on the room expecting top service and a great room. The room was small and cramped and the service was more in line with a B&B than a 4 star hotel.

It is a new and modern hotel, but the parking is located outside and we had to carry our luggages since the street going down a slope to the reception, under raining. We had a pleasure and good dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel.
The room was perfect, it was really big. The breakfast was really good. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Had a bad breakfast saturday - they didn't fill up food, we came 10:00 - breakfast closed 10:30. Cold coffee, no bacon, no eggs and so on. Monday we should catch a plane and had too leave at 07:10. Wanted som breakfast first. The waiter did'nt like we startet 06:50. We paid 600 Euro for 3 nights, its cheaper in Rome and Madrid as well for 4 stars hotel. This is Bergamo.

My husband and I arrived after midnight to the hotel and were met by friendly and competent staff who sorted our check in quickly and efficiently. The room was not huge but absolutely sufficient and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. The location meant a 10 minute walk to the funicular to get to the old town but this was a pleasant and easy stroll. It was also very convenient for the train station which we used to get to Lake Como. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and would stay again.

I USED THE JOLLY BERGAMO DUE TO EARLY FLIGHT BACK TO UK FROM ORIO DE SERI AIRPORT FOLLOWING TRIP TO LAKE COMO. THE HOTEL IS VERY CLOSE TO THE TRAIN STATION THEREFORE NOT TOO FAR TO HAUL LUGGAGE.

This hotel is ideally located hotel in Bergamo, 5 min walk to the train station and 5 mins walk to the centre of the city. the rooms where very clean and spacious. unfortunately the restaurant was closed for refurbishment the night we stayed there.

we has arranged for two single rooms. One room was quite acceptable and we were told it was a standard room, the other was absolutely tiny - a large cupboard. I requested that this be changed and only after some arguement was it changed to a standard room. I would have been very unhappy to pay the amount of money quoted for the original room given to me.

Hotel had lost our booking. I gave reference. No rooms available at that price. Gave us higher grade room for whole stay. Staff attentive and ever-helpful but friendly. Excellent hotel. Bergamo is a lovely place for a weekend (or longer if you wish to visit Milan or lakes). The old city was beautiful. The newer parts of the city are a bit spread out so you have to explore. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Hotel restaurant very good and excellent value for dinner. Breakfasts too were splendid

I was leader of a croupe with 4 couples who stayed for three nights. The hotel was good , the price was alright. One thing could be better: the hotel had no bar or restaurant, but for us this had no influens of how we liked the hotel. We had that kind of acomondation right out on the street

The address provided by the hotel is false. Even on their card it's written "8" instead of "? 3 ? 5 ?" it's on the other side of the street but not close to it --> the hotel is a hard find in car... clean rooms, very modern hotel. Nothing special there, it's a "chain" hotel not too far from the "old" city. Probably we'll try another one next time.

This is our second stay - our first being July/2004. Quality of the hotel is still as good as it was last year. Excellent location within the city centre. We will stay again next time we are in the area.
The only faults we could find with the hotel were that we couldn't get a glass of wine at 10pm as the bar had closed early & there was none in the mini-bar & the receptionist was not pleasant about it; no tea/coffee making facilities.
Excellent hotel, high standdards, modern. Close to train station (5 min. walk) and Citta Alta (15 min. walk. Exceptional prices ion week-ends, but expensive on week days.
We travelled to attend a world superbike race at Monza.The hotel is just What we needed.Everything as described on the web.Excellent value,and if travelling to bergamo again I will definitely try and book the Jolly Bergamo.

Perfect hotelfor short and long term stay. Very clean and modern, breakfast is also enough. Service is excellent, we could even check out at 6 pm without extra charges! Just a 5 min walk from the train/bus station.
The price for our one night stay in a double room of this quality was fantastic. The hotel was spacious and very light in decor. The courtesy of the staff was A1.

The Bergamo Jolly Hotel is excellent in it's price/quality relationship. Bergamo is a very central location if you want to visit Como, Iseo, even Garda and certainly Milan. Also Bergamo is very nice and not expensive at all. We'll go back. Patrick
Sehr schönes, neues und modern eingerichtetes Hotel, dass über Venere sehr günstig angeboten wurde. Ist normalerweise ganz schön teuer. Die Lage ist super, da man in 3 Min. am Bahnhof ist und in 5 in der Stadt. Direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich ein Bushaltestelle. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Wenn ich nochmal nach Bergamo fahre, auf jeden Fall ins Jolly.

By car Take the A4 Motorway to the Bergamo exit. At the roundabout, follow indications toward the city centre onto Via Autostrada. Go left onto Via Simoncini, continue along Via Bonomelli, the go left onto Viale Papa Giovanni XXXIII. Turn right onto Via Paleocapa at the first set of traffic lights.
