Spent 2 nights (18 & 19 Sep) in a nice room overlooking the bay. Gozo is a hidden gem and this was my first visit to Malta. Hospitality of staff and everyone I met was incredible and I will return!
Excellent choice! Hihg quality, very well located, splendid view over the bay of Xlendi, really quiet. Wi-fi available.

Stayed in Xlendi for one week and were very happy with the fantastic sea view and room size. The only problem we had was some road noise (being the end room), also the breakfast was quite basic. Would recommend sunbathing on the roof terrace as the views are amazing. Xlendi itself was an excellent place to stay with sea kayaking, pedalos available locally and the snorkelling is also good on Gozo generally; plenty of nearby places of interest to visit too.

This really is an excellent hotel! It is a clean and very well run operation, in an attractive, new building with a fantastic location and views. The sea-view rooms are to be recommended as the view of the bay is beautiful. There is also a roof-top terrace for all guests. The rooms (and, indeed, all areas) were tastefully furnished and well laid out. The complementary buffet breakfast was very good. Xlendi is tiny. This means that everything is close to the hotel; ATMs, the bus stop and a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. The capital, Victoria, is only about 10 minutes away by bus. Its well worth a visit (or several) for shopping, sightseeing (the Citadel) or just a very long lunch! Also, all the buses in Gozo operate from the bus station there. (Ask the hotel receptionist about bus times) If you're in Gozo for a week or more, then a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon on Comino is well worth doing, as is a day-trip to Malta's capital, Valetta. Transport is very efficient and SO cheap! Gozo certainly isn't a party island. So, if you want the neon signs and clubs, go somewhere else! However, if you're looking to chill out in great surroundings with amazing landscapes and history, then Gozo is hard to beat. Despite being a separate island, Gozo is very easy (and fun!) to get to, (especially if you travel light!). There is a shuttle bus direct from Luqa airport to Cirkewwa and the ferry to Gozo is a very regular and efficient service. (I found the hotel to be extremely helpful with travel information) The hotel San Andrea staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly at all times. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. I will definitely go back!
By car From Gozo Harbour: follow signs to Victoria, then to Xlendi. By bus From Mgarr ferry port in Gozo, take bus line 25 to Victoria, then change to line 87 to Xlendi.
Complimentary outdoor parking is available next door to the hotel.
Zafiro Restaurant & Bar serves local specialties and Mediterranean cuisine in a stylish, fully air-conditioned setting.
