The farm from the 18th century, is renowned for its delicious wine and its olive groves and varieties of fruit trees. Due to its central position, the farmhome Colleverde, is the ideal place to enjoy the art cities like Caserta, Naple, Pompei or Ischia. The structure has a restaurant for 15 people and serving typical dishes.

The hotel was about 18 kilometres from the motorway. The hotel is in a wonderful location but the services provided are not good. We had to ask for the boiler to be started as there never is any hot water. The maintenance of the rooms are a bit hit and miss as things tend to fall off the wall - for instance the shower assembly. The rooms are very big but the owners appear miserly - for instance there was no remote control for the TV and the air conditioning was inhabited by birds!

It was actually very difficult to reach the hotel, since the xplanations written on the site do not properly correspond to the easiest way to arrive.

Surprised with quality and cleanliness of premises. Website pictures does not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised. The friendliness of Mr Morelli and his daughter were overwhelming. The location is close to a family ristorante well frequented by locals. Again very clean and helpful. To receive full benefits one needs to understand and express oneself in Italian. We cherished our overnight stay there

I suggest this kind of accomodation, very clean and quite. Really good price/quality

All was positive. Only one drawback: you can have only breakfast not lunch or dinner.

What’s important to know about Colleverde is that it is not an agriturismo & I would very much like if ENIT (the Italian Gov't Tourist Board) & the Italian Hoteliers Association would stop allowing places to use the term "agriturismo" when they have no restaurant (the information on the venere site is wrong) & provide no locally grown products (the fact that the signora puts up a few jars of kiwi jam each year doesn't really qualify). Colleverde MIGHT be considered a bed & breakfast except that breakfast is not included in the price of the room (about which more later). In addition, the roads are badly marked & the hotel doesn't little to help you find it; once you figure things out, the route is straightforward enough, but our arrival was marred by 45 minutes of frustrating navigation; the maps Colleverde provides on venere are useless & the sign indicating the turn into the hotel is nearly invisible until you know exactly where to look. The best thing about Colleverde is the surrounding countryside, which is lovely, peaceful & (even in summer) green. (The hotel itself WOULD be peaceful but for the fact that the hallways are neither carpeted nor soundproofed & every closing door sounds like a cannon shot; I suspect it’s a much nicer place during the off-season, when it isn’t full of screaming kids & Italians making as much noise as possible.) The other thing to know is that EVERYTHING at Colleverde costs extra, which is the kind of bait-and-switch that makes travelers justifiably suspicious of Italian hoteliers. There is a nice pool, but you must buy a swim cap in order to use it (“hair blocks the skimmer,†the signora told me). Five Euro. (I’m quite convinced she’d make you pay even if you were bald.) Breakfast is available, but it’s not included. Five Euro for a few pieces of bread, some undistinguished jam & coffee, all of which would cost about half that if you went to a café. If you want to use the air conditioning in the summer or the heating
There could be a better map on how to get there. I had purchased a 1:600,000 map and the town was not listed on it. Using the map provided on the website we found it, but then missed the sign on the road 3 times. Some local girls told us where it was. We weren't sure we were there because there was a locked gate, but they opened it when we buzzed. Bianca was great. The room was very quiet overlooking the valley. Bianca recommended a very friendly restaurant right up the road where we had a great dinner. For the price this was a great spot. The only problem was it took quite a while for the water temperature in the shower to regulate. We spent the night here after visiting Pompeii. Afterwards we continued on up the road for a driving adventure over the ridge.

Stanze molto comode, ben equipaggiate. Cortesia e tranquillità unite a costi accessibili.

The welcoming was excellent and the father of the owner gives us much information about Napels (almost free parking tips) and caserta and..... He drives us for 2 hours in his car to let us enjoy the surroundings and even we were taken inside a mozzerella factory. Also we received a lot of tips which weren't even listed in the regular tourists folders.

I was not sure at the time of reserving a room for my family (1 adult and 3 grown children) about an agriturismo. We couldn't have been more pleased with the spaciousness of our rooms with kitchen, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, the delicious food and wine, and nearby restaurant. We extended our stay an extra day to enjoy the area, our surroundings and the palace in Caserta with its beautiful gardens.
pleasant stay, kindly owners, spacious room (no tv in room and swimmingpool out of range due to renovation)
Absolutely fell in love with the Morelli family and their farm. They are excellent hosts in every way. Unfortunately, the cool weather caused our room to be very cold in early October, when no heating was available.

Relly helpful and accomodating people, especially since we missed our flight and were very late arriving!
