b&b - exterior The Bed & Breakfast il Vigneto enjoys a nice location, overlooking the volcano Etna , right in the centre of Trecastagni, a lovely small village situated on the Etna's slope. The BB is housed in a charming villa with a large garden and a spacious terrace with tables and chairs. The welcoming interiors offer all the comfort you may need for a wonderful vacation. The B&B's strategic location allows for quick and easy access to Mount Etna, the beach, and popular Sicilian tourist destinations including Catania, Acireale, Taormina, and the Alcantara River.

Il Vigneto is a great bed and breakfast. The location was perfect for our stay in Trecastagni. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge (by Italian standards). The breakfast was enjoyable and we loved the home grown fruits. The balcony is huge and has great views. We had some difficulty translating a phone message and the showers were a little tricky (the hoses are not wall mounted) but overall, Il Vigneto was a great b&b and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Trecastagni.
By car The Bed and Breakfast is reachable via the highway A18. Exit at Acireale and follow the indications to Trecastagni-Chiesa San Alfio. The B&B is situated next to the Piazza San Alfio square. By train The Catania, Acireale and Giarre train stations are linked to Trecastagni by the AST local bus service. By airplane From the Catania airport there are buses and taxis to the central train station, from where you can catch the local AST bus to Trecastagni.

The Bed & Breakfast il Vigneto has a vineyard, with citrus trees and olive groves, where guests can take a walk while admiring the majestic volcano.
