The images on the web site does not do the room justice at all. We had a very big terrace overlooking the sea. The terrace even had plants on it! Not all rooms has this facility but we were very lucky. Good location near both the sea and old town.

The only problem is the parking. I thought the hotel would have designated parking for hotel guests.

Great little hotel! The single rooms were tiny but very clean. I would recommend the double rooms as they were exactly as shown on the website, but for the price the single was fine. The staff were very pleasant, and the location was excellent. The road noise was a bit much, specially with the windows open (which I insist on in nice weather), but with ear plugs it was tolerable and I slept well. The only thing I would improve would be the shower stall. It was quite small, and difficult to get into and out of, but still serviceable. Overall I would recommend this as a great little hotel, and an excellent value for the price!

This was our third visit to this hotel and it had the same excellent staff and the room was great with great views of the coastline and the town. It is convenient for both the beach and the town with all its facilities.

The location of the hotel was almost perfect. Close to the beach, casino and centre. Ynforunately, the new railway station is on the other of the town. The staff was friendly. In spite of a modest breakfast. We spent two extra days in the hotel and in San Remo in spite of a modest breakfast.

This was our first stay in San Remo and we loved it. The town is very noisy but the hotel is not on the main street. Our room overlooked the garden, which was pretty and quiet and we could see the sea! It has a good central location and is close to the Saturday and Tuesday markets, and the La Pigna. A very pleasant stay and we would return.

I cannot remember what the web pages showed, so everything in this category has been given #6. The hotel was difficult to find and parking in front of it was very restricted; however there was free parking in a nearby public lot. The room was nice but there was a fair amount of street noise. A good dinner was provided on HB

The hotel was a bit of a walk from the train station carrying our luggage but still walkable. The room was very spacious with ocean views from the balcony. We were also walking distance to shops/ restaurants etc. We would stay there again.

Hotel highly recommended. We got a fantastic room with a great view and large balcony. We were expecting much less for the rate so were pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly.

My wife and I stayed at this location as our regular hotel was fully booked. The staff were very accomodating and helpful The only negatives were that the hotel was on the 4th and 5th floors of a five story building, the elevator was very small for our luggage and the area was noisy at night, even with the windows closed. Despite these, we would stay there agian if our regular hotel was unavailable.

The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a refrigerator. It also had a nice surprize, a terrance with ocean views that were beautiful. On the negative side, the breakfast was skimpy. The hotel is not near the new train station as you said in your advertisement. We had to take a taxi. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

Rooms were super spacious which was a nice change as up until this pt we had the typical european size room. The room we had, had a TV room with a leather couch, and windows streched along this room which you could open to catch the sea breeze which was close. Bathroom was nice and clean, would stay there again, FREE parking (this is huge in Europe we discevered) on the street right oustide the hotel on Sundays and free in the beach parking lot (1 minute walk from hotel) all the time

The hotel is difficult to find. The room was not so clean and bathroom was disgusting. But regarding the price, it's ok I think.

Very good, especially for the price. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room (single) was large with large bed. Breakfast is limited but very adequate. Location,in the heart of the city, although a bit far from the new train station is easily reached by bus. A lot of affordable restaurants are nearby.

A modest pensione, surprisingly found on the first floor of the builing, it provided a very comfortable and friendly base for our short stay.

Sole Mare is a very friendly and welcoming hotel.We had a good size room though the shower/WC room was tiny. The balcony overlooked the sea. Well located for the shops,port and casino. We felt San Remo was good to explore for a couple of days but then we went back to Nice for busier night life and city atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Very friendly small hotel. Great location - close to the sea(lovely view from the window)and to the centre of the town. But quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay there.
