9.1
Great location made it easy to walk to many sites and catch buses to those farther out. Many nice and affordable restaurants in the area. B&B staff was very accommodating - we were able to leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. Room was simple, but clean. Breakfast was pretty basic - croissants and pastries with other breads with spreads, coffee and juice.
2.2
Extremely hard to find, located on the fourth floor of a building. I was quoted the price of 100€ but was asked for 140€. Great location, but pay a little more and stay at a nicer place.
6.8
The staff was very helpful with information navigating Rome. The location was perfect for getting around on foot to the main sites and restaurants. It's wonderful to see the Pantheon early before the crowd arrives. The room was small but characteristic of Rome and the bathroom miniscule.
6.5
We really enjoyed the value for money. The bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom was clean. We had a view of the panthenon (peek a boo).Although you can get more for your money near the vatican. You cannot beat the location. right in the center of the centro storico. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was toast/pastry/coffee.

It was a very pleasent stay in the Pantheon View. We will recommend it to our friends and families.
Best location in Rome, friendly staff and a nice, quiet room. All major attractions within walking distance and excellent restaurant next door. Only drawback was that we got only one set of keys for three people, and as B&B is located on third floor behind three locked gates/doors, this is a bit awkward. Tiny breakfastroom, but on the other hand that brought us into contact with friendly guests from other parts of the world, which was quite nice. We became almost like a small familiy. Would love to stay here again!
8.4
Loved this place! The location can't be beat, and the live-in manager was very kind and helpful. The tiny elevator was challenged to fit two people and our luggage, but was charming. The room was small, but beautifully decorated and the plantings and sculpture on the little eating balcony were lovely. The coffee was great, if the pre-packaged pastries left a bit to be desired. This is an amazing value for the location.
6.3
My family and I generally had a great stay at the Pantheon View over Dec30 to Jan4. The owner greeted us when we arrived, took us through the check in process and handed us the keys to the building and to the B&B. After that, we were left much to our own devices, which was great. It felt like a home away from home. The place is, on the other hand, very compact and there is not much room to move around, both in the "common areas" as well as in your rooms. We had the "suite" - 2 bedrooms together, with an ensuite. Even the elevators to the B&B could barely fit 3 people. But that was all part of the charm of being in the location, which is simply fantastic! Overall, I will give it a thumbs up - if you can take the "cosiness" of narrow corridors, staircases, elevators, and the tiny breakfast room (we gave up and had breakfast in our suite after the first morning). But hey, you are on vacation and as they say, "When in Rome ..."
A very nice B&B, both relating to the stategic position and the quality of the structure and people.
If you want to stay in the historic district (and you do!), there is no reason to stay any place else or pay anymore. This is a perfect location with a beautiful view. Feel like a local and less like a tourist. The best espresso in the city is around the corner at Tazza d'Oro. The Pantheon, of course, is your neighbor. The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Palantine Hill, Colosseum, and Forum really are within 5-20 minutes if you're walking. If you're not walking, a taxi stop is located right next to the Pantheon. Terrific, authentic, non-touristy restaurants abound nearby. Try Osteria da Mario's outside at night, Ristorante Enoteca Corsi for lunch, or Trattoria der Pallaro anytime. Yes, the rooms are small, the shower is small (just turn sideways when getting in), the elevator holds 1 person and 1 suitcase, but that is exactly the same as the 3 and 4 star hotels in this surrounding area that charge 2 and 3 times the price. Save the money and stay here.
Unbeatable location next to Pantheon, excellent service and warm welcome. Bedrooms are modest, very clean with great new bathroom. Could not have asked for more for the price

We,4 couples, and family, had a great stay at Pantheon View. A perfect place for a weekend in Rome.We could not wish a better stay, kind and helpsom people. Close to everything in Rome.
7.3
Our room was really small but nice with a balcony (a small piece of the Panthoen could be seen - at least when bending over the balustrade). The breakfast was self service and for Italy the choice seemed to be quite good (toast, cornetti, packed cheese and marmelade). As the cornetti did not seem to be very fresh, so that we preferred to have it in a bar nearby. After arrival we obtained a leaflet containig all things that need to be considered - time of breakfast, how often towels would be changed, extra fee for an additonal change, fee if the key is lost etc.. Payment of the bill for the room in advance. This seemed strange, but in the ende it did make no odds. The welcoming was very nice. The B&B is located in the city-centre so that the most places, tourist would like to visit can be visited by foot. When the windows are closed the rooms are really quiet.

We only miss a refrigiator or minibar to get cold drinks
9.6
I stayed here with my grandfather for 3 nights. The staff were great, the rooms clean and bright, and the position close to the Pantheon was the best thing of all (great food and entertainment 24/7). The only problem was a blackout on the first night which meant no hot shower after traveling for over 30 hours. This was not the fault of the B&B and they tried hard to give us updates and lit candles throughout the buidling which added to the atmosphere. You can easily walk (safely) anywhere in Rome from here and enjoy breakfast and afternoon drinks on the balcony. Highly recommended!
7.2
Room was quite nice and the balcony was very pleasant (Just as pictured on their web site). The room and bathroom were clean and well tended. The staff was a family with varying Englsh (very good to fair) and helpfulness. There was no one at the "front desk" but they were on call by buzzer any time during the day. We were in room #1 which was fine. If we had been in any other room we might have had problems with the extra steps to climb (we are both 80 years old). Breakfast was, as described by others, basically packaged pastries but there was plenty of coffee, juice, toast (and toaster), croissants, butter, jam etc. to make a "standard Continental" breakfast to have on the balcony.
very nice people, it was if it was our own appertment with a breakfastsrevice included. feeling free for coming in and going out at any time! perfect location for visiting the centre of Rome.
9.9
We really enjoyed our stay at Pantheon View. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room had very nice details, and we just loved the balcony. We will definately stay here if available when we come back to Rome!
7.5
The Pantheon view was great and we will stay there again. The receptionist was very rude. It seemed as if we were a waste of her time during check in. We never saw her again at the front desk. She only comes out when called to check people in. The room attendants were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Maybe the receptionist was having a bad day but the other guest said she was rude to them too.
I did not like the breakfast in the Hotel because it was not with fresh products. I would prefer fresh bread, fruits, yogurts, etc.
4.8

We requested a quadruple suite. One room, with the queen bed was reasonably sized, the other with two singles was tiny. However, I got peak at other double rooms and those appeared more spacious. the location is great and for the price the place was reasonably charming, and clean. I think it's probably a good place to stay if you need 1 room for 2, but if you need space for 4 or more, the space will be tight.
It's Rome, it's a bit more epensive than other places in Italy, so you expect to pay a bit more than other places, but I think for the budget traveller this is pretty fair value. It's neat and tidy and very close to everything. Easy enough to find, although the map could be a bit clearer, and once you're settled in just a great location. So close to everyhting you could want, such as Piazza Navonna, and Fontana di Trevi. We could see the top of the Pantheon from our bedroom window, and had a late night gelato in the square below on our way back to the room each night. Once complaint, I thought the website said it had airconditioning, it doesn't, and in high summer this might be a problem. In early September when we stayed it wasn't.
6.1
Location was perfect for everything tourists go to Rome for. We were steps from the Pantheon and its delightful square. Within east walking distance to Trevi Fountain,Piazza Navona and Spanish steps. 20 minute walk to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the Colosseum. Room and public areas were nicely decorated but the shower was grubby and water never got warmer than lukewarm, even though we let the shower run for 10 minutes, as instructed by proprietress. Breakfast was poor. Price was good for Rome, but I would spend a little more next time.
The B&B was excellent. Located right by the Pantheon - you couldn't get a better location for such a good price to see all the sites. On our arrival - Sunday 24th April - we managed to walk to the Vatican to see the new Pope Benedict 16th's inauguration within 20 minutes! The B&B is on the top floor of a private block, situated behind iron gates - lovely imposing doorway! There is a tiny lift (can take 2 people and small bags!) to get to the top floor where the B&B is situated, but if you want to walk the stairs - 3 flights - not ideal for children. I would say that this is ideally suited for a couple visiting Rome for the first time. We didn't require a fussy large room and having a balcony made a difference - lots of street noise which we loved (although the balcony window is double glazed reducing noise once closed). A stud wall split the en-suite bathroom from the bedroom - so not overly sound proof, but adequate!! The very basic breakfast is available which consists of sweet bread/croissants, snack toast with cheese and coffee/tea/juice. We would stay here again and recommend to anyway who prefers a base with no fuss.
9.5
This is a charming hotel with great service and in a great, central location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the balcony was absolutely lovely.
3.6
The location was very central (pantheon) but the rooms were furnished with poor materials, were not very clean and were very expensive for the quality of the service. Breakfast were not good at all.

My mother and I spent two glorious nights at this fabulous BnB. The location is in the heart of Rome. Our room was so very special and beautifully decorated with a terrace to enjoy. Do not miss this charming BnB! For a great tour company go with Roman Odyssey Tours. Ask for Joshua Urie- excellent guide. Thank you for your great service venere, you have been such a valuable experience!
An exceptional, characterful property in an exceptional position.
6.4
The best thing about Pantheon View is its location in the centro istorico. The views of the pantheon itself are fairly remote. But it is pleasant being on the top of a smart appartment block. The rooms are OK though I suspect rather warm in summer since there is no apparent air conditioning. Breakfasts are really poor. Bad coffee, only sweet croissants ,no rolls - not good enough for the price paid. But that apart the accommodation is not bad overall.
6.2
The location, room size, and price were excellent. However, the rooms were excedingly NOISY. Any door opening in any room in the complex sounded like thunder. The room we stayed in was clean...however, it had an odor similar to stinky feet.
We had a wonderful time staying in hotel Pantheon View, and we would highly recommend this hotel, which is, by the way, more like a pension, to anyone who is considering to stay right in the centre of Rome. Excellent balance in price-quality (as we say: p-q okay!)
5.5
My wife and I stayed here for two days. The reception was very friendly and helpful. When we reached our room (Double room for 2 people) it was a bit small, but no problem. The Goods: The balcony was just as the pictures had indicated (on another hotel site - not venere) and we were able to enjoy our breakfast there privately each morning. The street below was quiet until usual waking times, and the location was very convenient and close to everything we wanted to visit. The bads: The coffin-sized shower was just big enough for me to stand and turn around in, and made horrible sloshing noises whenever the water was used. The elevator was just big enough for one person and two suitcases to stand in. The breakfast room was right next to our room, and the walls are pretty thin. Some people decided to take a late coffe and smoke there and we could clearly hear their voices and smell their smoke through the wall and door. I'd definitely rate it a 2 star hotel, and would maybe stay there alone, but not with my family again.
Pantheon View suited us very well indeed, but we were disappointed not to have a balcony overlooking the Pantheon as it is stated that ALL rooms have such a balcony. Looking back at our documents there is an indication, but why advertise all rooms with a balcony if it is not true?!
5.9
very different from traditional hotels, lots of plumbing problems. walls are very very thin and you can only see a little corner of the pantheon from the room. Not all rooms have a view either. But for the price the location was excellent, right in the middle of touristic rome.
8.1
Fantastic hotel to the Pantheon!! Very good!!!
Breakfast consists of prepackaged croissants and such in a very tiny, cramped room. However, the location of the hotel and the spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the quiet of being up high was excellent.
I cannot recommend Pantheon View enough! My wife and I went to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and if it pleased my wife on such an occasion, it can't be bad! The location is superb (literally 30 seconds walk to the Pantheon and centrally located for all other major attractions), the friendliness and quality of staff was refreshing, the room had the most comfortable bed (other than my own) that I have slept in, and our room also had a veranda looking out over Piazza Rotunda which made sitting in the room when exhausted after sight-seeing very enjoyable, with all of that people-watching to be had. The only down side was that being so close to the Piazza, the background noise of an evening, especially of a weekend, was quite high with the late-night socialising that the Romans do (then again, that was also part of the appeal of the location!). Be warned though, that although all booking is done through a credit card, you can only settle the bill in cash - this caught us out as we were not informed of this and a mild panic in trying to obtain the cash through an ATM. However, all in all, I would definately go back to Pantheon View if staying in Rome again and will recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Rome in the future. Ciao!
9.8
Unbeatable location. Great, very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
8.6
Was out of hot water the first day, but the situation was quickly corrected. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Rome.
9.3
The location could not be better! Lovely balcony for breakfast in the morning and just hanging around the rest of the day, if you're lucky enough to get one of the rooms with a balcony.
We were very happy with our choice of Pantheon View. We would book again. The location cannot be beat. The only suggestion I would make is that if you like to read in bed you should bring your own book light, as the bedside lamps are a little too dim for reading. The hotel is very well insulated from street noises, but you will hear a certain amount of noise from inside the hotel, mostly water in the pipes, and voices in the halls. Fortunately, it is not too loud, and does not occur at all hours.
9.7
This bed and breakfast was in an excellent location, everything is close by and I couldnt of had better service.
As billed - just a few steps away from the Pantheon, couldn't ask for a better. Very clean and the room (#4) was very spacious, though the bathroom could have benefitted both from some re-grouting in the shower tiles and better lighting (couldn't see yourself as you showered!). Otherwise, an excellent choice, and would happily return again.
9.4
Rome especially being a city where hotel location vs sights is very important, this facility provided an excellent match. As hotel rating 3 star facility with excellent value for money. Rooms 1 and 2 could be an excellent solution for a famiy as rooms can be connected via (outside) terrace (2M*10M !!)
We enjoyed a lovely spacious room at Pantheon View which was in an ideal location for visiting Rome. The room was nicely furnished; the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also large and very clean with a plentiful supply of hot water for showers. My husband was a little bothered by noise from the streets below where there were noisy parties until the wee hours, and of course with no screens on the windows there were mosquitoes at night. We were never disturbed by other guests at the B&B. The breakfast food was plentiful and good and the room cleaned daily. We would happily stay at the Pantheon View again and appreciated having the reviews of others who had stayed there to help us in making a decision about accommodations in Rome. I would heartily recommend the Pantheon View to anyone intending to visit Rome.
I can recommend the Pantheon view 100% - we plan to come back!
Service: very nice welcome and almost invisible most other times. Location: this is an excellent location- it is walking distance (15-20 minutes)from all the major sites (Vatican/Colloseum/Spanish steps)and only 5 minutes from Trevi Fountan, Piazza Navona and Teatro Argentina. It is about 30 metres from the Pantheon although saying it has a Pantheon View is stretching it slightly - you can see it if you lean sideways off the balcony. Room: Pleasantly decorated with pleated fabric hanging ceiling drapes, chandelier, wall friezes and marble floor, the bed was comfortable. The balcony was accessed by french doors and was a great place to sit and eat. It has wisteria and other creepers and is an interesting view looking up and down Via Del Seminario which is a very narrow street. There was no airconditioning, however the aspect of the room was such that the sun was never directly streaming in, and we found that we did not need it , even though it had been about 34 degrees during the day. The bathroom was very small. Gripes: our only gripe was that for the price that we are paying it would have been nice to have some fresh food for breakfast, not the longlife biscuits and brioches that come in plastic bags.
Pantheon View is in an excellent location if you are looking to stay in the center of Ancient Rome. Most of the major attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are rather small - thank goodness we had a balcony and could sit outside. Our room had a ceiling fan which we kept running all the time and which kept us comfortable at night. Overall not bad - would stay there again just because of the location.
