apartment - exterior The "Fattoria Palagio", located right in the heart of the "Chianti" , at 200 mt. on sea level, 4 Km. Away from exit A1-Incisa, allows to make quick and comfortable excursions to the main tuscan art cities, such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo. Should you prefer the relax of swimming pools of the "Palagio", you will enjoy the view of Vallombrosa wood, the castles of Incisa and Sammezzano, Villa Pitiana and the Arno river.

apartment - terrace The "Fattoria Palagio" consists of three separate real estates: S.Agnese-the most ancient. Fienile- the smallest. Torricella- the biggest. All apartments have been carefully restores, centring the attention on the protection of the architectural peculiarities. In order to guarantee the absolute quiet during the stay at "Fattoria Palagio", all manufactures have been moved to the close farm of Villa Pitiana. With its 20 ha. Of vineyards, "Palagio" produces an excellent Chianti wine d.o.c.g. Should you prefer an active vacation, by a short trip to Villa Pitiana you will have the opportunity to rent a mountain bike or book a horse riding throughout the unpolluted natural reserve. Gourmets, at Villa Pitiana, will have the chance of participating to the cooking courses inside the "Monks kitchen", or simply taste the high quality of food in the Restaurant of the Villa, which is mentioned and recommended by the main gastronomic and touristic guide-books.

The grounds were beautiful and the outside of the building was rustic, but the inside of the apartment is where the problems were. The room was dirty, the kitchen was dirty and the kid's beds were really uncomfortable. We only stayed for one night, but I think if we were staying for any longer we would have made a change. The employee was very nice and accomadating and the location was convenient as well.
