farmhome - exterior Set in the green Chianti Fiorentino hills, on top of a magnificent hill that on one side overlooks the Val d’Elsa and on the other the Florentine plain, this estate is amongst 130 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and woods and produces superb Chianti wine and olive oil. This farm estate is the ideal starting-point for visiting many culturally-important areas nearby. To reach the estate, take the tree-lined country road from the hamlet of Camaioni, and you will soon leave the present and plunge into a world immersed in the past. The Drighi family, who have owned the estate since the 1950s, have painstakingly restored the estate buildings into attractive rooms and flats which fully reflects the traditional rural Tuscan farm life.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent time here enjoying the wine the scenery and the beautiful walks

Wonderful beautiful place. Each building had its own vinyard to look at and a clean pool to relax by. The staff was very helpful. We had an apartment which was very spacious and a good kitchen so we could cook at home. Hope to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this agriturismo. One thing we hadn't anticipated was the additional €8 cost for breakfast (they did let us know before we arrived). The location was secluded, and our water went completely out one morning, but overall we enjoyed the experience. We'd have liked the restaurant to be open so we wouldn't have to go out searching, as other restaurants were 20-30 minutes away.

Tenuta San Vito was an absolutely wonderful place to spend seven days. As an operating olive and grape farm, the surroundings were beautiful. The staff (especially Barbara) were the most caring and helpful we encountered anywhere in Italy. The apartment was huge and well equipped with everything we might have needed including all of the kitchenette utensils and dishes. The swimming pool and restaurant were right next to our building and we enjoyed both as often as we could. The proximity to the heart of Tuscany made it very easy to travel daily to a wide variety of interesting and historic places. The nearby village of Montelupo Fiorentino was delightful. In short, it was a lovely experience.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment in the middle of a very large farm. Well equipped but you need to make sure you had all your food with you as it was far from any town. It was quite lovely to wander through the farm. It was along way from the station, so you would need a car.

The grounds were beautiful. We had our own aparment away from all other buildings so we had a lot of privacy and it was very peaceful. The owner was very helpful when we arrived and spoke English very well. The only let down was that there was no one at the office for the 2 days we were there (we were given an emergency number if needed), so if we had any questions outside of an emergency, we had no one to go to. Also, I was told in my confirmation e-mail that the restaraunt on the grounds would be open for dinner, but was told when we arrived that it was not open for the season yet. Which was a little disappointing. So, if you are someone who really likes to get away from it all, and can rough it a little, this is a perfect place for you.
