Staff in the reception desk was fine; personal of the breakfast and restaurant Olympia was marvelous! Just opposite to train station, but still very very quiet.

The room I was first given had 2 small bed - even though I asked (with a note) to have a single, large bed. Fortunately there was still rooms available with a large bed, and the hotel personnel reacted very professionally.

Convenient location next to station and town area. Hotel staff not very helful in providing informations on place to visit. Not many choises for break fast.

Distance from Geneva is 60 km/ 37 milesfrom Berne 100 km/ 62 miles
Lausanne can be reached directly from Geneva Airport in app. 40 minutes. Direct train connection by TGV from Paris, by Pendolino from Milan and Intercity from Frankfurt or Munich.
