Realy, 500m of dirty road, maybe little hard to find (GPS preffered)
Hotel a gestione familiare, davvero di ottimo livello. Un po' difficile da trovare e per raggiungerlo occorre percorrere almeno 500m di strada sterrata (circa 1Km se si sbaglia strada!).

Take care to arrive before darkness the first time, otherwise it is difficult to find. The last 800 meters road is very bad. The owners are very friendly and helpfull, but communication in English is limited. There is a nice swimming pool, but no internet access and the nearest (nice)restaurant is in Pietrapiana which is about 5 km away from Colonia Belvedere. It is an hour's drive to Firenze.

The place was absolutely beautiful, and the area was gorgeous. Our only complaint was that it would be nice if Venere.com could provide adequate detailed maps on how to get to this location.

Apart from beeing very hard to find the Colonica Belvedere was a great place to stay overnight on our journey back from our vacation. The family is great and very welcoming, the house and the rooms are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Truly a place to recommend!
Colonica Belvedere is an exceptional B&B in every way. The rooms are charming and spotless. The pool area is very nice. The breakfast room is spacious, charming and spotless as is the sitting area near by. Instead of the usual Italian coffee plus a sweet bun B&B breakfast Colonica Belvedere offers a good selection of toast plus many jams and honeys, pastries, yogurts, juices, fresh fruit salad, cheeses, cereals, milk, coffee, tea, cappuccino. What makes it really exceptional is the hostess Lilianne. She couldn't pick me up at the train station; so, she picked me up at the Outlet Mall; I didn't have a car; so, she offered to make dinner for me that night. When it comes to service this lady isn't just a 10; she is a 10+. Reccommend her B&B...you bet...over and over again!

Especially nice facility, grounds, with gorgeous view and pool. Hostess was very helpful with train schedule and generously provided us with excellent breakfast at 6:30 AM when we had to catch a plane. Area of breath-taking scenery. For car travellers only; located at end of long, bumpy farm lane in countryside about 20 KM from Florence.

Séjour parfait pour ceux qui recherchent un endroit calme et vert pour se détendre autour d'une piscine... Seule la barrière de la langue pose problème + le fait de devoir prendre sa voiture à chaque déplacement mais la quietude des villages alentours en vaut la peine ! Je recommande à coup sûr ! Delightful family, very private accommodation. No aircon which might be a disadvantage in high summer. Not sure, since I didn't personally make the booking, that the website allowed 4 people to book into one room. We had booked two rooms but it turned out that there was a four-bed available.

Great Place. Definitely worth the money. Great service and hospitality. The hosts are very friendly. The right place for people who like the countryside and who like a quiet place to relax. And yes: you should arrive in daylight and have a decent map of the area. And we would like to come back any time.

This B&B is excellent though difficult to find. We were in Tuscany in July so it was very hot and once we eventually found the B&B the pool was a god send. The views from the hill where the B&B is situated are wonderful and it is sooo quiet. The people that run the B&B speak little English but it was easy to get by. The only down side to the place was at night it was extremely hot and there is no fan or airconditioning so it was hard to sleep. Other than this we would recommend staying here.
Very beautiful area. Sweet and helpful husband and wife team. Lilliana spoiled my child and we all loved it! Winding road to autostrada (30 min) took some getting used to.

Very nice and quiet old Tuscan country house with friendly hosts. Beautiful view in rural setting. Village is kind of hard to find, a more detailed travel descriptions would be helpful. However finding the hotel within the village is rather easy since there are signs posted along the way (last 400 m unpaved).

La srta. Liliana nos hizo una acogida excelente. Nunca podremos olvidar los desayunos que nos preparaba en el jardin. Es un lugar ideal para realizar excursiones por la Toscana. Muy recomendado para personas que necesiten unos dias de relax y tranquilidad.
El desayuno en el jardin es muy agradable, el sitio es precioso y los baños en la piscina al atardecer son incomparables.
Great place if you need rest. The pool and the view are gorgeous, the place is calm, the owers are welcoming. The only problem is that Firenze is not far in theory (25km) but it's a mountain road, dangerous especially at night that takes about 45 min. Not a good place if you want to visit Firenze everyday and stay there for the evening
Il posto è bellissimo, i proprietari sono di una disponibilità fuori dal comune!Ci si sente accolti con calore e simpatia. L'intera struttura è curata con gusto e semplicità , accogliente in ogni periodo dell'anno. Sorprendenti gli incontri nei pressi della struttura con caprioli, fagiani e lepri! Unico appunto... Troppo bello!
Ein tolles 1200 Jahre altes toskanisches Bauernhaus. Sehr schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, super nette Vermieter. Das Anwesen ist von Florenz aus in 35 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Eine Anreise bei Tageslicht ist zu empfehlen - die letzten 2 Kilometer führen über Feldwege, das Hotel befinder sich inmitten von Olivenhainen. Bei unserem nächsten Toskana-Urlaub werden wir dort mit Sicherheit wieder übernachten.

Colonica Belvedere is a beautiful place to stay. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are nice & clean and the surrounding with vineyards and olive trees is the perfect place to relax.
Acceuil et service magnifigue ... Un endroit calme et idéal pour visiter la Toscane ou plus particulièrement Florence. Les chambres et la piscine sont magnifiques, le seul désagrément est l'isolement de l'endroit pour manger le soir, il faut faire quelques Km pour trouver un restaurant ... Si vous voulez être tranquil, c'est un endroit que je recommande chaudemment ! Very nice and quiet (completly in the nature) place. Very good location if you want to visit Firenze or the area in general. The rooms and the swimming-pool are beautiful and the owners very very nice.

I was extremely happy with our choice of Colonica Belvedere. First, the owners are wonderful, warm and friendly. Second, the house was just what we were looking for: not too big, just 5 rooms, so perfect for a pleasant relxing family stay. We will definitely return
We stayed just a single night on a tour of the region. An excellent property with wonderful furnishings and fittings. The hosts were lovely even though our italian requires much improvement. They even provided us with an evening meal at short notice. The only small criticism would be that we found it hard to find. You have to leave the main road and there was no sign-post although I believe that situation is being rectified. Not a worry for an experienced traveller, we asked helpful locals the way, but may cause anxious moments for some.
