the hotel is far from the centre and metro..

They are currently renovating the inside decoration that is poor, cold and, hmm, of bad taste. However people were very friendly and I was quite surprized by the quality of the evening food. Globally, the hotel is OK

Chose hotel because it was economical, close to Paris and had free parking. Construction going on in hotel and had sheets of wallboard in hallways. Wouldn't stay there again but it was very economical and did provide a breakfast which was ok.

near huge park with little lake,at the other side of this park you find two pizzerias,a coffee shop and the metro. 10 minutes to reach the center of Paris.

we stayed 3 nights at L,Amandier very good value for a 2star hotel. All the staff were very helpfull and spoke english.Breakfast good value at 8-50 euros. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would use this hotel again, ideal for a visit to Paris.

The hotel is quite distant from the nearest RER station. You have to walk through the park which is pleasant in the daytime, but a little bit scary in the night especially if you are a girl.

Very pleased with the stay overall, the reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. Europeans probably won't mind, but Americans used to Air Conditioning if traveling in the summer should be aware that there's none in this hotel. It was pretty hot in our room, but luckily the weather was cool outside that night so we just kept the window open. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a bargain if you're driving a car (we were just stopping here before flying out this next day). If you're planning to see Paris and take the metro for transportation, though, it's a bit of a hike to get here from the RER station, which as far as I could tell was the nearest one to the hotel - be sure to check that out first!
Une chambre double. Peut-être la chambre semblait-ele petite tellement le lit était grand.
It's a perfect hotel to stay in if it's your goal to see Paris and practically just sleep there. Clean rooms, with own bathroom. Just a little bit noisy.

I stayed there only one night. The location is confusing a little. I coudldn't get a taxi first...finaly I got another one. The place and room are clean and cute. Only I wanted a hot water in the room...even if they have a vending machine. I wanted drink a hot tea before sleap.(by the way, I didn't find hot water at anyplace in France) Anyway, this hotel is very nice.

Situado en las afueras de ParÃs, en Nanterre, puede ser un pelÃn complicado llegar en coche pero el hotel en sà está bastante bien.
7.6
The hotel is far from the train station (12 min walk) and the bus only ran limited hours and not on Sundays. It's a little scary when returning back to the hotel at night alone. The hotel is a short train ride (7 mins) to central Paris on the RER A line. The rooms were basic, but clean and adequate if you're only planning to sleep there. Cable flat screen TV was a treat for a 2 star place. The staff were helpful and competent. Our reservation did not include breakfast.

For a short notice overnight stay this was excellent. Obviiously at the price it was quite basic but it was excellent value for money and was a welcome portt of call at midnight. Did not try the breakfast but restaurant looked quite adequate.
6.4
A basic but comfortable hotel with friendly staff who were eager to help. The one thing that the hotel lacked was a social room. However, as a base to visit Paris it met our expectations well.

The motel was wonderful. The directions on line were a bit confusing, and because we didn't speak French it was hard to find it, but once we did it was perfect. The staff welcomed us immediately, they were extrememly helpful and friendly making us feel right at home. It is right next to a bus stop, and very close to the subway. The resturant is wonderful. Paris is absolutely gorgeous and this motel was affordable, and convienent. I would absolutely stay here again, and I'd reccommend it to friends!

Employees are friendly and con amore, though the room is not huge, we still had a great time at Hotel L'Amandier.

The hotel was not easy to find even if i use gps. In the middle of the night a dog start barking or crying. So the sleeping wasent so good. In the morning when i go out to the car, the windows in the back seat was crashed and all the items inside, gps small money etc was stolen. 2 others car have the same problem. When we go to police, they told us which place we shouldent put the car outside in the night, and outside the hotel was one of this place. It lays in the worst crime district in Paris. The bed was good, but i would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Its to difficult to find, even to take taxi was difficult, the name on the hotel is the same name as the street.
this was the first time we stayed at hotel l'amandier and everything was OK.
7.5
If your goal in staying here is to go into Paris and sightsee during the day, then this hotel is excellent. It's really quiet at night. And the bed was comfortable. If you are looking to enjoy the Parisien lifestyle, i wouldnt recommend this Hotel. The Metro closes usually around 1am, and the buses stop running out there around 1030p. It is nice, but the walk from the Metro across a park is kinda scary at night.
The rooms were clean and everything worked. Given that the price was low it exceeded my expectations. Only problem is it is 20 minutes walk across an open park from the Nanterre Prefecture RER station. My advice would be to take Bus number 159 to La Defense. The bus stop is right outside the hotel.

Father, Mother Daughter and Grandma was verry happy in Paris and content with the hotel - l'amandier -
This is by no means a very special hotel and I only needed a one night stay but for the money, there is no reason to complain about anything with these guys. Friendly staff and clean rooms is what wins my vote. I'm sure I'll be staying here again if I'm ever in France again.
