The location of this hotel is just great, right in the middle of the Latin quarter; plenty of restaurants to chose from in the surrounding area plus a lot of night activities. We felt fairly safe walking late at night. The subway was just a few steps away, allowing us to reach any destination easily. The room we got was small and a bit noisy in the night, but other than that it was a very nice place for us to stay.
8.1
This is a nice, clean, welcoming hotel in the very heart of Paris. The rooms are neither big nor small but they are well-served. As in all other Paris hotels, the breakfast is not included in the price but is otherwise satisfactory. The only negative issue about the hotel is that it is located on maybe the most noisy road in St Michel: a road full of pubs, bars, and music clubs. So, if you need some calm, consider this, especially if you will be staying in the weekend. From all other respects, this hotel is a fine hotel and I had a pleasant stay.

This was our second visit to Paris and we enjoyed it just as much as the first visit. Our stay at Hotel Albe was great as it is such an excellent location in the heart of the Latin Quarter and with easy access to so many of Paris's main attractions. The Metro is only a couple of minutes walk and is an excellent service. Our room whilst small (typical of Paris) was very comfortable and clean and well soundproofed. From our window we could look between buildings to the Seine which was very special. Staff in reception and the hotel in general were very friendly and helpful. The Boulangerie under the hotel has irresistable crepes! We would happily stay at the Albe on our next visit to Paris.
6.6
Very nice hotel, ideal location. Last time I had one of the "corner rooms", was a little disapointed this time because of the small size of this room. Nice people in the reception. I will come back.

We loved our hotel and Paris. This hotel is located in the Latin Quarter and we loved it. It is busy (but once you close your windows all sounds are gone) but that is the fun part. We loved the food in this area and came back here each night to eat after sightseeing. We loved walking the neighborhoods and bridges at night checking out the river. It was a great way to walk off your dinner before heading in for the night. Great Time had by all of us.
the hotel seemed to be recently renovated. it was new and clean. the room is small as any hotels in paris. the location was great - as it is steps from St. Michel metro station, though the street in front of the hotel could be very crowded and noisy. the room was sound proofed that helped to shut out most noise. we had a room with nice view of the river. i also liked a fridge in the room. the price was a bit higher than i hoped but i had nothing to complain.
9.1
Very nice hotel with a very service-minded staff. We were 3 persons in a double-room with an extra bed, which made the room a bit tiny. Central location, crowded tourist area, but when the windows were closed, we were not disturbed by the street noise. The cooling system in the room could, however, be better. All in all, we had a very pleaseant stay, and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
8.9
The hotel offered a lovely breakfast for 10 euros each, which was a bit pricey for three people each day, for six days. To save a few euros, we visited the cafe/bakery just next to the hotel, at the corner of the Rue de la Harpe, and the the Rue du la Huchette, for cafe creme and pain chocolat that were delicious and cost about four euro each. The Hotel Albe exceded standard for spaciousness of room for three adults. We were very grateful for the upgrade to junior suite. The location of this hotel is outstanding--five minutes from Notre Dame, just across the bridge from Chatelet, a few steps from the Blvd St. Michel and a long block from Blvd. St. Germain des Pres. Slight drawback is the late night noise in the streets below, but that is part of being in the center of Paris!

small room, small bathroom.Noisy place on weekend
9.9
Yes, first time we stayed there. Most of the clientele appeared to be from various European countries interested in a great location (Latin Quarter on the Left Bank) across from Notre Dame and walking distance to everything! Convenient to Metro. St. Michele is lively at night. Hotel just off the square in Little Athens.
8.2
Very good hotel in a touristic area of Paris but my room was quiet and extremely spacious. Nice people at recption and breakfast room.
7.2
Perfect location to Notre Dame close to metro station, street can be busy, restaurants nearby are ok, but you will find better away from the main streets. Staff were very pleasant, great place to recommend to friends.

We were staying in an extremely small room on the 5th floor. The elevator didnt function. Compensation was not offered. We enjoyed the town (we were on holiday) but were disoppointed by the quality of the hotel.
5.4
Your website said there was a fitness facility on-site. There was NOT. I was extremely disappointed--this was one of only two criteria I used in my search. I feel like I am owed some sort of rebate. Thank you.
9.4
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location to all the main tourist attractions was fantastic. We could walk to everything we were interested in. We were disappointed with a few of the touristy restaurants in the area but when we finally asked the receptionist she headed us off to a great restaurant just across the fountain. Thankyou all for your wonderful service.

Our room was perfect, updated with a modern bathroom and shower. The maid service was perfect. The size of the room was small, but this is not unexpected in Europe. Our room had a balcony overlooking a small street lined with restaurants and shops - very nice. The location was excellent - 100 steps from the St. Michel subway station, and easy walking distance to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, and Notre Dame. Now the bad news: The location of the hotel seems to be a popular party location for the college crowd. Even with double-paned windows, the rap music, yelling, and general noise from an impromtu street-stage 50 feet away, was audible until 2:30 in the morning, EVERY morning. We had specifically requested a quiet room, and although the staff acknowledged the noise problem, they said there wasn't much they could do about it and that the local business owners were required to quiet down by 10 pm - which never happened. For a very sound-sleeper it is an excellent choice, however, we are light sleepers and would not choose this hotel again.
7.7
Great location for visiting sites around Paris. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Staff were very nice & helpfull. Loved having an elevator. Rooms were small but clean and neat. Would defenitly stay here again when in Paris.
9.7
I was welcomed beautifully AND upgraded to a larger room. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely stay again.
Been to Paris many times and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We were given a 3 bedded room and faced on to the main street of the Latin Quarter...with a small balcony. Great hotel, great service. Bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the Metro is only a 3 minute walk with a direct service to Gare Du Nord which was perfect for us. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Paris.
We booked a double room, but were lucky enough to stay at a triple room with the same price. It was the most spacious room we have ever stayed in Paris. Staffs are really kind; they changed the booking according to our new schedule after we arrived there. Perfect location, too.
The location was ideal.
I had an extremely pleasant stay at this hotel with my elderly parents. I could not think of any fault with the service, and the rooms, bathroom, were well furnished and very smart and clean. The lift takes 3 persons and was quite suitable for us. The hotel is in an exciting and very busy pedestrian area, but the sound insulation was so good that you could not hear any noise with the windows closed. I don't know how the rooms are ventilated but I felt comfortable at all times whether the windows were open or closed. The breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfast itself was more than enough and good value. Apart from the breakfast room there is little public space for meeting other residents, but in a city hotel such as this that would be normal. I would definitely return.
Staff accomodating and polite. Good beds and linens. Very clean rooms. Our room had 2 windows affording us a lovely cross breeze. Very quiet if you shut windows, we opted for earplugs to block out the noise of the Latin qtr and still have the breeze. Being on the top floor we were afforded lovely views of Paris sites. Excellent location for foot travel. I understand that the hotel breakfast offerings were quite nice, but we opted for morning excursions to our favorite spots including the bakery in front of the hotel. First time this hotel, 3rd time in Latin Qtr.
Perfect location for exploring Paris.Hotel & staff extremley good.Would recommend this place as it is in an excellent position to explore a beautiful city.

I think the Albe Hotel is very well located, very clean an not noisy. We were pleased with the spaciousness of rooms and bathroom, quite big for Paris.

Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights at Alpe Hotel and we really had a great time in Paris. Everything worked fine - except the first morning where the breakfast we have ordered for the room - never showed up. Paris is fantastic - and we also want to recommend a small restaurant called L'AOC located 14 Rue Fosses Saint Bernard, it was a magnificent meal with superb service. www.restoaoc.com
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Albe. I could not believe how close the hotel was to the River Seine and Notre Dame (literally out of the front door) and it was right in the hub of all the restaurants and bars of the Latin Quarter and only two minutes walk from the metro station. The rooms were fantastic and reminded me a lot of the chain of Art Hotels I have previously stayed in (of course at a fraction of the price). Although the room was small (as due to the architecture in Paris, most will be)it was very clean and obviously recently decorated. I loved the flat screen tv, ideal to watch after a long walk around paris whilst getting ready to go for an evening meal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know who is going to Paris and I can't wait to visit Paris again partly so I can stay in this lovely hotel in the perfect area.
8.5
This is in Ste. Michelle, a really busy touristy area. The hotel is close to Notre Dame, Ste. Chapelle, Hotel de Ville and a short metro / walk to Ste. Germain and Quatier Latin & Pompedieu. There is a cool jazz club around the corner. The metro is right there as well. The restaraunts by the hotel are nicknamed "bacteria alley" - we chose to explore other brasseries and cafe's near by. We would stay here again.
8.8
Exellent stay. Only one night though. Perfect situation if you wish to have life around you. We stayed in a superior room and that could have been bigger. Shower curtain would be nice.
9.0
Our stay was very satisfactory. we would recommend the hotel to others. We have been to more expensive hotels in Paris before, but did not have as good service.
The Albe Hotel was a wonderful place to stay! The room was clean and although small, very nicely done. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I had booked a double superior room, and when we arrived they only had a regular double, which was smaller. But it was still a nice room, and they reduced the charge by 10 euro's. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay, and would definitely return!
8.6
Excellent location. Clean, very clean place. Very helpfull English speaking staff. Room and bathroom very small, but something for something.Strongly recommended. Slav Kornobis. Canada.
Ideal location in very busy area. Metro just around the corner. Fantastic boulangerie next door where you can sit to eat breakfast. Vast selection of restaurants in surrounding streets. Double glazing worked well to keep out noise. Air conditioning in our room noisy. Hotel very clean. Bathroom excellent. Only downside was my son left his watch under the bed and it was never found - staff did not seem too concerned.
7.9
The hotel is extremely well situated just a minute from the Place St. Michel. I would definitely return when I want to be in that part of Paris.
7.6
Stayed in a triple room in Hotel Albe with one double bed and one single bed. Hotel is in a great location for touring in a very popular area. Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. Would definitely stay here again. Ideal for short stay.
We could not reach to the front of the hotel by taxi and bring heavy luggages from taxi stop area. It is quiet enough to sleep although outside is quite noisy area. It is convenient place to any public transportation
We loved the Albe. The location is fantastic if you want to be in the middle of the Latin Quarter hub bub, and right near the Seine and Notre Dame. In oom 211 - a triple, with three twin beds - you could step out on the balcony and virtually be "in" the latin quarter with the thousands of other people below you, or you could close the windows and it was amazingly quiet. More noise came from the hall side of the room that the street side. The hotel design is a nice blend of clean, modern design and decorating, in a very old building. Two small details I would change: Add St. Michele metro stop to the location map for easy reference. Breakfast room was a little hard to negotiate and warm. It would be great if the windows opened out to the street.
7.1
Great location next to more than 40 multinational restaurants and few steps to Metro & RER. D'Albe will be the hotel of my choice for my next trip to Paris.
9.2
El servicio estubo excelente.Lo recomiendo tanto para familias como para parejas de matrimonios.
A little gem of a hotel in a fantastic location. Friendly staff and the whole place was clean and fresh. Thoroughly recommended at that price point.
We had a wonderful stay at the Albe Hotel. The location was great in a lively area of the latin district. Lots of resturants nearby and the best bakery right out the front door. Our room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. We would definately stay again. It is also with in easy walking distance to the train station.

The Albe Hotle was in an excellent location, reasonably priced and everything I hoped it would be. I'd highly recommend it.
perfect location for sightseeing. Beside metro/rer
Fantastic location 20 metres from Metro and right in the heart of all the sights and restaurants. Hotel was all we had hoped for, clean, well appointed, soundproofed rooms and friendly staff. Rooms aren't spacious but we didn't come to Paris to watch TV. Not the cheapest but great value.
9.6
A great place to stay. Heaps of restaurants all around. Right in a busy part of town but quiet thanks to double glazing on windows. Staff were great and we were able to communicate in English which was wonderful for us with our limited French.
The hotel's situation is ideal for visiting the Latin Quarter, but you must realise that this is a busy & noisy student/tourist area, especially @ weekends. However, the rooms are sound-proofed & the air-conditioning worked in all 3 rooms we used, so noise shouldn't be a problem except for light sleepers or perhaps if allocated a lower floor room. The staff are friendly & helpful, but the breakfast is rather limited - there are plenty of alternatives in the immediate area. The RER trains to/from CDG airport & Metro to/from Gare du Nord are very close, too. We shall definitely use it again when visiting the Latin Quarter.
I stayed at Hotel D'Albe for 3 nights in mid-July and found the hotel to be extactly what I was looking for. The hotel was very clean, the staff pleasant to deal with (and competent, especially w/ regard to nighttime security), and the location to be just perfect (close to the Latin Quarter, Saint Germain, tons of cafes, bars and restaurants). I would recommend this hotel to my friends and would very likely stay at this hotel again.
I would stay here again. I have recommended this hotel to friends. We loved the location. The staff was very accomidating.
excellent location, rooms a little small but services really very good and all as shown on the website I surely recommend this accomodation
We got a new renovated room with a fine view. Very nice room, perfectly located. We will recommend this to anyone!
