Room adequate, good views.

These are my friend's comments regarding our one night stay at Garim last fall. We switched hotels the next day: "As for the Hotel Garim, beside the bed being up against the door that opened onto the balcony, our bathroom was the pits. It was so tiny, you could not sit on the toilet comfortably Also the tub was dirty. The whole room gave me the creeps. When we went down to breakfast at 8:00am, there was nothing on the buffet table but DIRTY COFFEE CUPS AND SAUCERS. No breads, cereals. All of the tables also had dirty dishes on them. I found an employee & told him that I would like some clean coffee cups and some coffee and he said he would find someone. That took about 10 minutes." Our room was shabby with a 70's decor and musty. The mattresses were terrible and they refused to change our room when they had a WHOLE EMPTY FLOOR. The mattress actually had broken springs! We left immediately and found a lovely room at a hotel down the street and our friends joined us there the next day. I hope that they have made improvements since last year. We had a nice stay in Termoli.

THE HOTEL GARIM IS LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET FROM A TWO MILE LONG BEACH THAT SHOWCASES THE ADRIATIC SEA. THIS RESORT TOWN OF TERMOLI MUST BE THE PLACE TO BE DURING THE HIGH SEASON (WE WERE THERE DURING THE OFF SEASON) TERMOLI HAS IT ALL -- CASTLES, FISHING BOATS, PIERS, FERRIES TO CROATIA, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING AND MORE. THE HOTEL PROVIDED A GREAT BREAKFAST, EVEN THOUGH OUR PARTY OF FOUR SEEMED TO BE THE ONLY VISITORS. THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. TERMOLI NAD THE HOTEL GARIM ARE A GREAT PLACE TO SPEND SOME VACATION TIME.

The beach is on the front and the railway is in the back. You can't hardly miss any voice or conversation from adjacent rooms. We were asked 7 euros per person in their beach, but a few yards down the beach we got it for free at the beach restaurant. Shouldn't charge more then 80-90 euros for the services provided, the small rooms, the thin walls and the "walking distance" from historic centre.

Although the hotel itself was OK. It was off season (didn't realize that, Sept??) the pool was closed, that was one reason we picked it, the restaurant was unavailable one whole day due to a wedding which was very noisy. The hall was directly beneath our room.It started at 11am and lasted until 2am the next morning. Making it worse was there was a storm with hurricane winds happening so we had to stay in our room. The restaurant was full of wedding guests, the reception area was full of basketball players. We were unable to leave the hotel, the restaurant was closed, we were unable to get food for many hours. We ended up leaving the hotel and going to another which was closer to the town.

This stunning little town is quite a surprise... We found the hotel more by luck than judgment... it is on the Northern outskirts of the beach strand. The view from our balcony was stunning. Right opposite a lovely long beach, just across a small road and a view of the old ramparted town jutting into the sea to the right. Hotel a bit concrety and sparse but good for sand and sea and sun I guess. Pretty empty apart from a few business people but the food was good and the over large dinning room overlooked the sea. Reception was fairly oppulent. The staff were kind and lifts were available to get us to the sea front where parking is underneath the fron porch. The railway runs along the back but could hardly be heard, as most of the hotel faces front to the sea. The bathroom was a weak point as the sink was too large and it really needed re-designing. The room was big enough to have allowed a larger area for the bathroom. The small beach cafe across the road,attracted our attention and offered a good array of excellent cappuccini etc.,another surprise. A rewarding overnight stay.

We came by car, no sign to the hotel at the entrance of Termoli. We have to ask 3 people before one knows where the hotel is. Continental breakfast quite good, but every day something was missing (knives, spoons, etc.) although there were enough service people. May be they did not see it. Hotel room excellent, not too noisy. Also view to the sea beautiful. Although we stayed only a few days and the weather was really hot we relaxed wonderful.

I would not have booked this hotel if I had known the hotel kept a public address system running pop music at full blast until past midnight. Nor would I have booked this property if I had know that trains run all night long on tracks directly behind the hotel. Furthermore, there was no curtain on one of the windows by the beds and there was a light shining through the window all night. There was no escape from the incessant noise. My family and I were unable to sleep. Additionally, the room was not clean. There were ants and other insects all over the room. The staff was unable to give directions to places we wanted to visit. The nice beach location was not enough to compensate for the poor accommodations and poor service we received.

the internet pages show the hotel in a much better location than it really is. During our stay there was neither a parasol nor a deck-chair available( at the hotel beach) .We`ve been told it`ll be better in august. !!!! Our room was ok, exept the fact that we had a bathroom designed for handicapped people, that means wet floor all the time.

Service was excellent, facilities offered were limited since we were there off season. I definetely will reccomend & return to this facility. Thanks for your help.
