The hotel brag about great view an so fort. That may be for those lucky ones that get a rom with a view. We didn't. Only to a back yard with pine trees outside our window. They should state that certain rooms and public areas don't get the view they promise. Its also a bit steep. Not good for handicaped.

The place, build on a cliff, is idyllic: you enter in a small village, with little colored houses. The streets are paved stones. The "junior suite" we rented, had a terrace in front of the Meditteranean sea, superb! But...for a four star hôtel, it lacks cleanliness: the towels are clean but not bright white, the floor is rusty in the corners, the fridge can't be open because it's not straight.... Animations for kids maybe be noisy sometimes at night...All unimportant things considering the view !!

Very nice place to stay for a relaxing sea holiday, especially for family with children... but not if you want to stay in Alicante city center, as we thought! The hotel is about 25 Km far from Alicante! Anyway it'a very nice place, even if I expected something more (sauna, swimming pool, ecc.) reading other guest's comments.

Very good breakfast. I didn't take advantage of all the facilities because it was for me just a stop over during a journey but it seems a good place to stay for at least few days. I didn't check the way to the beach, better check if you are interested in it.

It is a beautiful place to stay next to the sea. It is a holiday village with many townhouses to rent or property. Guess, it is time-sharing. Very proper, nice rooms located near the pool with sea view. Excellent breakfast, a perfect stay for us for one night passing through to andalusia.

This Hotel was nicely designed, we would have enjoyed it more had it not been a torrential down pour for the two days that we were there. The staff should have provided transportation for our luggage to the room, we had to pull 3 large suitcases up-hill in the rain on cobble stone, for a distance of 800m or more and then back down to eat dinner in soaking wet clothing and once again back up that hill to try and dry off utter bull. We were not impressed. No Help was offered, the staff at the front desk was to busy talking on her cell phone to even let us know they had umbrellas for the guests to use. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Dinner in the restaurant was limited with regards to choice's. Pics on the net were nicer than what we experienced. We were not here for a holiday but were her to get rest prior to the WKA World Karate Championships in Benidorm. Maybe under different circumstance we would have enjoyed our stay more. Instead we got sick and could not shake the cold we all caught.

This hotel might have Internet in rooms. One computer connected in lobby is not enough for all people. It has a beatiful sight and is a beatiful place. A good restaurant, also.

The hot food in the restaurant was terrible, the food was uncooked and of poor quality.

Possibly because time of year some facilities were not available i.e. one of the swimming pools, currency exchange, a la carte restaurant. The 'pub' was seldom open and when it was there was not a great choice of drinks, the souvenir shop seemed to make it's own opening times. When the coffee shop bar and restaurant were open, the staff were very friendly although not very good English so trying to translate the 'set' evening menu was difficult. The food served there was adequate but nothing outstanding. There should also be some sort of warning for people with mobility or health problems of the steepness of the climb to the rooms /facilities. It is also a steep walk to the bus stop if one is not hiring a car or taking taxis into El Campello. On the positive side, lovely scenery, certainly out of the way if you just want a quiet break. As yet 'unspoilt' by run of the mill tourist attractions although you can tell the area is going to be fairly 'built up' over the next few years. The breakfasts were very good, catering for all tastes, which at least sets you up for all the walking up and down the hill.

The location is absolutely gorgeous! Ideal for the honeymoon couple, or somebody who wants to get away from everything! The resort is gorgeous, the views are incredible, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious.

the hotel is brilliant and we loved the 'spanish village' idea, however the food was absolutely dreadfull. I could not eat my evening meal and could not make the waiter understand the problem. Breakfast wasn't much better.

Pleasant location and setting - room was sparse not very homely or welcoming. Couldn't sit on balcony as no shade. Breakfast poor and difficult to get a seat. Didn't want to spend anytime in room. Wouldn't stay again - was okay but expensive for what we got - booked a Junior suite and expected some luxery, was disappointed, stayed in 5 star in Alicante for 40 euros more and was in totally different league.

Overall this is a very nice and welcoming hotel, the staff are helpful and the complex is a nice, relaxed, quiet place to stay (Ideal for couples who don't want to be thrust into the centre of a tourist attraction). The breakfast which is included in the price of your stay is really nice and contains a wide selection of cereal, fruit pastries meat, juice etc. The hotel is a little out of the way from bars and restaurants, although a short bus ride takes you to el campello where there are plenty of places to eat and drink (be careful though as it is difficult to get a taxi after midnight). Be cauitious also when booking a room as some people may be aware (not us) if you book a double room in Spain it means two single beds not a double bed as you would expect in England ( you need to book a king size room for a double bed). As you can see from the pictures the hotel complex is built into the mountains and so a lot of uphill walking is required during your stay, add to this the heat and it can be a little uncomfortable at times. The hotel is about a 30 min drive by car or taxi and will cost about 40 euros. I would definately reccomend this hotel just be carful of the points we have made.

The hotel is excellent. The quality of the restaurant was very poor. The fish was only salty and the meat tasted only on garlic. Result: A very nice and good hotel with a panoramic view, but for dinner drive to the next town.

The hotel would have been fine in summer but with the weather as it was at the end of January (exceptionally cold)not the right setup. Access to public areas was via outside.
