Not so good hotel. I spent 30 minutes outside the door, ringing the bell before the receptionist arrived to open. The bathroom was little and not very comfortable. In the hotel there is not a lift, and it may be difficolt to join the room having a big luggage.

Nice little place, good location and a good price

Wallpaper peeling. Carpets stained and wrinkled. Receptionist was pleasant, but the overall impression was dirty and unkempt and we decided to move on.

There is an added charge for breakfast which was not noted on the website Also building works going on on the hotel exterior - a bit surprising to find builders on balcony in morning!

We were disappointed with the lack of parking facilities, having to park on the road side, since the car park was full and there was little choice for breakfast the following morning.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was larger than I had expected, traffic noise was loud but given the location it was to be expected and the double glazing dealt with the problem adequately. Excellent value for money.

As we only stayed 1 night it was not possible to assess this Hotel very much. We did not have breakfast the next morning as we were catching an early ferry back to the uk. Overall, the hotel was average and fine for our 1 night, the manager/owner was very helpful and friendly.

A simple but very comfortable hotel. Very good value for money. Well located in the town centre and close to the ferry terminal.

I couldnot believe waht a flee pit it was and nearly died when we first arrived. The hotel needs redecorating, carpets are missing and the wall paper is coming off. The room we had could have been lovely, it was a nice size, and had a balcony. However the room smelt very musty, first thing i did was to check the bedding which was clean, but the room was so shabby. I expect more from a 2 star.

Overall we found the hotel was exactly what we anticipated, at the price we wanted to pay. My only criticism (and this goes for most hotels regardless of 'stars') is that shower cubicles never seem to be free of mould in the grout or silicon waterproofing - it takes no effort really to address this on a regular basis. Nonetheless, we are happy to re-book with the Celtic for our next visit to France in August this year.
