Small, quiet, but very pleasant family hotel

We were there for holiday in August and it was very cold and raining intensively. The rooms are large, the meals are rustical, the stuff is friendly. The hotel lies directly beneath the main street, most rooms are to the other side. You can not start your walking tours from the hotel, because there are no walking ways in the surroundings. This would be no problem, if you want to go by bicycle or motorcycle. We felt the price a little bit high, because we had a plus for a larger room and a plus of 50 % for our 5-year-old child. In other hotel childs are included in the price for the parents room.

I am happy to give a revue on this family-run hotel which we found to offer excellent accommodation and friendly service. The food at dinner was fairly limited choice but there was sufficient choice to cover most needs. The food was wholesome and nicely presented in very pleasant surroundings. The hotel may like to consider whether the map on its web site could be improved to make it clearer that they are in fact a couple of kilometres out of Vittaro. Overall we felt that this hotel had high standards and represented excellent value.

The hotel is located in a beautiful rural setting. Very quiet surroundings and the rooms were very nice. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Hosts were very friendly. A good value for the money.

Our stay was terrific, and Michele, the proprietor, was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to help us enjoy our time in Pian dei Pradi. Grazie mille!
