The region around Pøt is tranquil and lush with an incredibly diverse landscape, boasting white, child-friendly beaches which are great for all kinds of beach and water activities. The region's small roads and beautiful nature trails are perfect for excursions and picnics in the countryside. The location of this holiday home makes it a perfect starting point for trips to the many attractions in the surrounding area such as Givskud Zoo or Legoland amusement park, both of which are great fun for children and adults alike.Beautiful Boller Castle is located around 10 kilometres from Pøt. The castle itself is not open to the public but the park is open and contains many old, rare trees, a pretty fuchsia garden, a Japanese garden, rose bushes and a selection of medicinal plants. Glud Museum, an open-air museum of rural life on the Juelsminde Peninsula, is also well worth a visit. In the summer season the museum comes to life with countless open workshops. Furthermore, the nearby towns of Juelsminde and Horsens each offer great shopping opportunities and a broad array of attractions.
