Surrounded by undulating woodland, Aabenraa is centrally and attractively situated, boasting a Riviera-like panorama view over Aabenraa Fjord. Don't forget to take a trip to Gråsten and the famous Gråsten Palace, a Royal summer residence dating back to 1759. Alternatively, Varnaesvig is an excellent spot for those who prefer to simply lounge on the beach in the hot weather. Varnaesvig is also a good starting point for a number of attractive country walks.
