Angers is 7 miles (12 km) away, with many tourist attractions. Stroll around the château, sample the French cuisine or visit the great shops in this city. Locally, Brissac, 1.25 miles (2 km), with its own weekly market, is just outside the grand château. It is a paradise for golf and fishing lovers, as well as offering something for all tastes.
