Delightful scenery and wildlife. Detached cottage for 2. This is a tastefully renovated, early 19th Century cottage, which is overlooking the Sound of Raasay. The cottage is only 5 miles from Portree and is located on a croft near the site of the Battle of the Braes and there is direct access to the sea shore. This is a very popular part of the island and is renowned for its scenery and wildlife, and there are woodland and coastal walks nearby. There are opportunities for golf, climbing and fishing, but if it's a restful and relaxing holiday you wish for, this is the ideal place. Shop and pub 5 miles, restaurant 4 miles. Lounge/diner, kitchen, shower room with toilet and basin, 1 double bedroom. Electric heating, woodburner in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, colour TV, CD player, radio, washer/dryer, microwave, enclosed garden, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars.
