Near Talyllyn lake This detached cottage is cosily old fashioned with an open fire in the lounge and wonderful views, especially from the front of the cottage. The property is purely for country lovers, it is very quiet, a total retreat from life in the fast lane. Just a short walk away is the glacial lake of Talyllyn, a favourite with fishermen, and overlooked itself by Cader Idris Mountain, a serious hike for walkers. Tywyn has a glorious sandy beach, a heated indoor swimming pool and a pleasant promenade. Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway is worth visiting, especially to view the Dolgoch Falls. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles. Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single plus single pull-out bed. Storage heating, open fire in lounge (fuel not provided), all other fuel and power by £1 coin meter, bed linen included in rent, colour TV, washing machine, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, patio, off road parking for 2 cars.
