Superb views across Oban Bay This attractive second floor apartment which is situated on the Esplanade enjoys magnificent uninterrupted views across the Bay to the Island of Kerrera and the open waters of the Firth of Lorne. Oban is the principal town of Argyll and the main ferry port for various islands. There are cruises to Iona, Mull and Staffin and local hirers also run excursions to smaller isles, which are breeding grounds for seals. The town is a great base for outdoor enthusiasts and has some of the best diving and sailing waters in the U.K. Oban has a varied shopping centre, an 18 hole golf course and is an excellent touring base, the sea life centre at Benderloch being a popular attraction. The Oban Distillery is one of the main attractions in the area and offers guided tours of Whisky making and even tasting! Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
