Furnished and equipped to a high standard, this cottage is just yards from the pubs and shops, and a short walk to Ullswater, with its lake and breathtaking scenery, to catch the boat with its wonderful mountain views down to Glenridding and Patterdale. There is superb fell walking all around with Helvellyn and Blencathra within easy reach. Other local attractions include boat trips, National Trust gardens, Little Salkeld Watermill, historic houses, galleries as well as many activities such as fishing, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria is only 5 miles away with a wealth of specialist shops, pubs, fine restaurants and evening entertainment, along with museums, gardens, theatre and bird centre.
