Pleasant countryside views This delightful, cosy, single storey, detached holiday cottage, with large French windows allowing you to see the lovely views across the surrounding countryside, is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The cottage is in the middle of Beatrix Potter country and the village has several good restaurants nearby. You are 3.5 miles from Windermere across the lake ferry, a centre for watersports and climbing enthusiasts. For the less adventurous visitor Windermere offers a multitude of charming shops, pubs and restaurants to relax away the day in. Just over 2 miles from Hawkshead, enjoying lovely views across Esthwaite Water on the way. Enjoy excellent walks including Tarn Hows 3 miles away, while the many activities of Grizedale Forest are 3.5 miles. Local attractions include: Lakeland Equestrian, garden centres, National Trust buildings, gardens, historical houses and museums, galleries including the famous Beatrix Potter Centre and visitor centres to name a few. Shop 75 yards, pub 150 yards, restaurant 100 yards. Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 1 double bedroom.
