Peacefully set in 10 acres of grounds, it is ideal for holidays throughout the year. Warm and cosy, this cottage makes an excellent base from which to tour the northern lakes, Northumberland and Scotland. Watch the steam trains pass by at the bottom of the field on the Settle/Carlisle Railway. There are lovely walks in the area. Historic Carlisle with its superb shopping centre is 4 miles, Brampton and the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and Gretna Green are both 9 miles. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile, restaurant 3 miles. Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, utility room, separate toilet. First floor: Bathroom with separate shower, toilet and basin. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.
