Splendid views to Skiddaw This charming semi-detached former farmhouse dates back to 1750 and has been tastefully refurbished to a good standard, whilst retaining its charm and character. It has an upstairs lounge to benefit from the lovely views and a spacious, modern kitchen/dining room. Situated in quiet countryside close to Bassenthwaite lake there are wonderful walks and cycle routes from the door, with sailing available on the lake and a storage shed for bikes. Keswick with all its shops, pubs and restaurants, and Derwentwater for watersports are just 6 miles away. The Georgian market town of Cockermouth is 7 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards. Ground floor: Kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. First floor: Lounge, shower room with toilet and basin, sofa bed in lounge. Oil central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, colour TV, video, stereo/CD player, washing machine, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome. No smoking, please. Friday to Friday changeover day.
